The Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone is a special zone in Neomuna that rotates weekly, granting players increased rewards including Strand Meditations and Exotic gear.
Vex activity in this area is increased, populating the Vex Incursion Zone with tough, high-level enemies. You’ll want to stay on your toes to take advantage of the increased rewards.
Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone rotation
The Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone rotation changes locations weekly between Liming Harbor, Zephyr Concourse, and Ahimsa Park in that order.
Similar to the Destiny 2 Terminal Overload activity, Vex Incursion Zone rotates location. However, while Terminal Overload changes daily, this changes weekly. The Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone location will change at the standard Destiny 2 daily and weekly reset time.
How to find the Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone
In terms of how to find the Vex Incursion Zone, keep your eyes out for the green and purple marker on your map of Neomuna. This represents the current Vex Incursion Zone location.
Sometimes this marker might be covered by a quest that involves this area, such as the Destiny 2 Bluejay quest. If that’s the case, double check your quest log and track the quest that sends you to the Vex Incursion Zone to track its location.

The Destiny 2 Vex Incursion Zone rewards include increased Strand Meditations earnings and guaranteed Exotics during the Vex Strike Force Public Event.
While not the best Destiny 2 Strand Meditation farm, the Vex Incursion Zone does grant increased Destiny 2 Strand Meditations. If you’re waiting for the Vex Strike Force spawn time or completing other objectives, it’s a good bonus towards unlocking all Destiny 2 Strand Fragments.
Most importantly perhaps, the Vex Incursion Zone is one of the best places to farm for Exotic gear, since the rare Vex Strike Force Public Event rewards a guaranteed Exotic drop. If you’re looking to complete your collection of Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotic weapons and Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotic armor, then the Vex Strike Force should be on your list.
