XDefiant TAC 50 loadout best build and class setup

If you want a competitive sniper loadout, then the best XDefiant TAC 50 build will serve you well, so here’s the full class setup on PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC.

If you’re a fan of using snipers at both close and long-range, then the best XDefiant TAC 50 loadout will be for you. Though this game doesn’t quite have the quick-scoping capabilities of older Call of Duty games, with the right build, you can get very close. If you can bring the precision, then we’ve got the best TAC 50 build in XDefiant to get one-shot kills consistently, while holding your own in close-range.

This XDefiant TAC 50 build is dominating the XDefiant meta as one of the best XDefiant guns. While it’s not going to be for everyone simply because it’s a sniper, once you’re set up with all the right attachments and equipment, it’s highly competitive in all the XDefiant game modes and XDefiant maps.

XDefiant TAC 50 loadout

The best XDefiant TAC 50 loadout is:

  • Barrel – Lightweight
  • Optics – CQBSS (8x)
  • Magazine – Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip – Quick Draw
  • Stock – Padded

This TAC 50 build focuses on improving the ADS speed of the weapon above all else to create the best sniper in XDefiant. You’ll be able to hit one-shot kills at both close and long-range, providing you’ve got the aim to back it up. While it won’t be as easy to use as something like the best XDefiant MP7 loadout or XDefiant ACR loadout, it is an incredibly strong weapon once you’ve got the hang of it.

Our first attachment, the Lightweight Barrel, is perhaps the most important attachment in this TAC 50 loadout, massively speeding up our ADS time with a slight boost to movement speed. Though this does come at the cost of short and medium range efficiency, this is a great trade-off considering how much it does for our quick-scoping potential.

Next up is the optics, and while this is largely up to personal preference, we’ve opted for the CQBSS (8x) scope. The standard sniper scope has a whopping 12x zoom, which is too cumbersome for most of the maps and modes. The 8x zoom gives us the perfect balance with a great reticle to help with target acquisition. With that said, you can use the Variable Zoom (4x-8x), which will slightly improve ADS time, though we prefer the reticle of the CQBSS scope.

When we’re in close-range with enemies, the last thing we want is to be caught out reloading a sluggish sniper. That’s why, for our next attachment, we’ve chosen the Quick Mag. This enhances our reload speed by a very welcome +15%, letting us reload the small magazine much quicker. If you don’t want to use a magazine attachment at all, then you could swap this slot for the Muzzle Booster muzzle for the slight boost to rate of fire.

The Quick Draw Grip is the second most important attachment, giving us a huge improvement to sprint-shoot time and ADS time. These are crucial stats for the best TAC 50 loadout, and this attachment has it all. While it will knock our aim stability, which can hurt at very long ranges, it won’t have as big an impact overall as the benefits of this attachment will.

Last but not least, the Padded Stock. This is by far the best stock for this build, increasing recoil recovery (great for bolt action snipers), aim stability, and ADS hit flinch (another important stat for snipers). Unlike the other stocks, it also doesn’t have any drawbacks. While the Lightweight Stock might sound appealing, it’s -10% ADS time is too impactful to make it worthwhile.

This TAC 50 loadout will now be ready to drop enemies with precise and extremely powerful shots, whether you’re up close to your enemy or at the back of the map. You’ll also be able to quick-scope, though not quite so gracefully as you might be used to from older Call of Duty titles. With that said, the other sniper in the game, the XDefiant M44 loadout, might give you what you’re looking for.

XDefiant TAC 50 class setup

As for the best TAC 50 class setup, we’ve opted for the 93R sidearm and a Proximity Mine.

Since the TAC 50 build above is competitive at both long and close-range if you’ve got the aim, the 93R is the perfect backup weapon for those chaotic moments with an enemy in your face. Firing in a three-round burst, the 93R is an effective close-range weapon when the TAC 50 might not be the best choice. As such, we’ve equipped the Barrel Extender to increase range and a Reflex sight to improve target acquisition. The Extended Mag will give us more ammo to play with if we miss shots, while the Quick Draw grip and Lightweight stock let us quickly get the weapon at the ready.

As the cherry on top, we’ve chosen a Proximity Mine. You don’t want any enemies sneaking up behind you while lining up shots or repositioning, so a mine is a great tool to cover your back. However, any equipment will work here. A Frag Grenade can be great for clearing rooms or forcing enemies out of cover, while the Flashbang and EMP can give you the leg up when you need it most.

And that’s the best XDefiant TAC 50 loadout in the game right now, giving you a high-powered and surprisingly nimble sniper to play around with. Once you’re all set up, choose your favorite of the XDefiant classes and XDefiant Factions and take it for a spin.
