Diablo 4 player and Redditor ‘Uberkull’ has highlighted the armor sets online, explaining that they are “ok with [a Diablo 4] cosmetic cash shop” but expressing dismay at the $28 price tag attached.
Diablo 4 armor is limited to specific classes this time, so you won’t be able to experiment with them on other builds. Though Diablo 4 cosmetics are purely aesthetical changes, it is a shame that a level of versatility is missing. Redditor ‘DST_Unbelieveable‘ isn’t about to shell out the asking price either: “Yeah, these types of insane prices have always made it a guarantee that I will never buy any in-game cosmetics for games I play.”
Fans like ‘kainneabsolute’ point toward fellow Activision IP Overwatch 2, saying that Diablo 4’s cosmetics are “even more expensive than OW2 skins.” The comparisons to the popular FPS don’t end there either, as ‘lycancanislupus’ pokes fun at OW2’s abandoned PvE content: “Are they gonna abandon PvE as well in Diablo 4?”
