Welcome to another edition of Warzone loadout of the week, a series in which we highlight an interesting off-meta pick from some of the biggest streamers around.
In the past, we’ve had loadouts from the likes of Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff, Kris ‘Swagg‘ Lamberson, and Aydan ‘Aydan‘ Conrad, but this week, we’re focusing on a particularly beefy FiNN LMG setup from the one and only Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton.
The FiNN was one of the best Warzone guns when it first made its debut way back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5: Reloaded, but since then, the LMG has been nerfed into oblivion. While the gun isn’t bad per se (as you’ll see shortly), the introduction of new, shinier LMGs has just meant that the raw power of the FiNN has been forgotten – until now.
After doing some pretty hefty number crunching, IceManIsaac decided to give the FiNN a spin. The gun has a 543ms TTK – that’s nearly as fast as the best Modern Warfare MP5 Warzone loadout. While you’d expect a gun that deadly to have some pretty gnarly recoil, it appears the FiNN will surprise you.
So how does IceManIsaac set up the FiNN to make this work then? Here are all the details.
FiNN build
- Monolithic Suppressor
- XRX LongShot Adverse
- Tac Laser
- VLK 3.0 Optic
- Commander Foregrip
This is the “deadly” FiNN Warzone loadout that IceManIsaac uses. The XRX LongShot Adverse barrel is absolutely key to this build, increasing damage range, bullet velocity, and fire rate. This barrel really does mess with the gun’s overall recoil, but the Commando Foregrip and Tac Laser help you keep that in check. The Monolithic Suppressor is there for increased bullet velocity and range and the VLK 3.0 Optic helps you tag enemies at range.
Since the gun comes with a stock 75-round mag, you don’t need to worry about ammo. If you’re accurate enough, this FiNN build should be enough to down four players in one mag. But if you’re planning on playing solo Quads and thirsting other players, IceManIsaac says you can switch out the Tac Laser for Sleight of Hand, although it’s not recommended.
An alternative to that – and one that’s endorsed by IceManIsaac – is running a mid-range SMG with this LMG. We’d recommend either the best Milano Warzone loadout or the best MAC-10 Warzone loadout.
Perks
IceManIsaac hasn’t shared what perks he’s using with this build, but the most likely combination is Double Time, Overkill, and Amped.
Equipment
For equipment, IceManIsaac is using the Heartbeat Sensor and Semtex.
So there you have it, a new and different Warzone loadout to try out in your next match. IceManIsaac says it’s pretty deadly, so all you need to do is try it out to find out.
