How long is Diablo 4? RPGs are typically big investments, and the Diablo 4 length is no different. However, depending on how you play, you could be spending a lot more time in the monster infested world of Sanctuary even after you finish the main campaign.

With so many activities in Diablo 4, how long to beat the game will vary wildly. How invested you are in the Diablo 4 endgame and reaching the Diablo 4 max level though, will be the main factor determining the length of Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 length

The campaign of Diablo 4 will take roughly 35 hours to complete, as confirmed by game director Joe Shely in an interview with GameSpot. Experiencing the endgame content could take around 120 hours or more.

There is a lot of content in Diablo 4, from the main story campaign, to the many Diablo 4 world bosses, and even PvP in the Diablo 4 Fields of Hatred. And, as Rod Fergusson notes in the interview above, “You’re in a shared open world, you can choose to go exploring instead of doing the story if you want to”. The Diablo 4 map varies significantly from previous entries in the series – opting for an open world format – so you’re free to do any of these activities when you want to, extending the length of the game accordingly.

If you really can’t get enough Diablo, then you can also replay the game as another one of the Diablo 4 classes. With five to choose from right now, there’s plenty of options to experiment with and extend your playtime.

With a rich and diverse endgame, players can expect to spend a lot of time with Diablo 4 if they choose to. In fact, many players are still playing Diablo 3 over a decade later thanks to the endgame and seasonal model of content updates. With the Diablo 4 Season 1 release date on the way – bringing with it the Diablo 4 battle pass system – it’s safe to say that there will be lots to sink your teeth into long past the release of the game.
