Who is a part of the Starfield voice actors and cast list? Characters are at the core of any Bethesda RPG, and as you venture out across the galaxy, you’ll meet plenty of interesting people. Those characters are brought to life by some well-known Starfield cast members who have lent their voices to other iconic games.
This guide will run through some of the core characters that you’ll be meeting in your journey across the stars. These Starfield characters are at the heart of the game and are who you will talk to the most when exploring, hunting down a Starfield legendary ship, or obtaining the best Starfield weapons.

This list isn’t in any particular order, but it includes a lot of the core members you will meet during the story. We didn’t include every single actor in the game because there are quite literally hundreds of them and that list will be extremely long. So we have focused on some core characters and where you have heard their actors from before.
Sumalee Montano – Lin
Sumalee plays Hawthorne in Destiny 2, but also voiced Dr. Elizabeth Cross in the Dead Space remake earlier this year. She has a pretty busy voice acting career voicing Hira and Enrichetta in the Dragon Age Absolution anime series, and Kindara in Mortal Kombat Legends Snow Blind, among other roles.
Lin is one of the first characters you meet in your game so she is a great welcoming voice before you start exploring the more than 1,000 Starfield planets.
Damien Haas – Heller
Damien Haas appeared in two RPGs recently voicing Shez in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes and Julio in Triangle Strategy. In addition to his roles in games, he has also been a part of Smosh Games since 2017.
Alongside Lin, Heller is one of the first characters you meet in the game so he plays an important role as you begin your journey across the stars.
Barry Wiggins – Barrett
Barry Wiggins has had a few sporadic videogame roles. Most recently he voiced a number of small characters in Mafia 3, all the way back in 2016. Barrett is by far his biggest role in a game to date and it is a really important one so he gives a fantastic performance.
You will meet Barrett super early in the game and he will stick by you throughout the story, so Barry really becomes core to Starfield.
Jake Green – VASCO
Jake Green recently made another appearance in a Bethesda game, Redfall. In that game, he played Bloodbag Chuck. But, he has also appeared in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, and Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart.
He has also been in a number of TV shows including Kip and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Animaniacs, and My Adventures With Superman. VASCO is definitely one of his biggest game roles to date.
Emily O’Brien – Sarah Morgan
Emily O’Brien has a storied history in games. Some of her biggest roles include being the voice of Bridget Strand in Death Stranding, alongside Amelie. She has also appeared in The Elder Scrolls Online for almost a decade as Khamira. In last year’s Saints Row reboot she also voiced one of the player voices, alongside Talia al Ghul in Gotham Knights.
But, as Sarah Morgan, Emily O’Brien is an important voice in Constellation and Starfield as a whole acting as one of the core Starfield companions from the very second quest in the game.
Dana Gourrier – Noel
Noel is Dana Gourrier’s second role in a game. But her career dates back to 2011 and she has appeared in Django Unchained, American Horror Story as Chantal in Season 3, and Judith in GLOW. But, the first game she appeared in was Detroit Become Human. Back in 2018, she voiced Rose in the game.
Cissy Jones – Andreja
Cissy Jones is undeniably one of the most recognizable names on this list. She has appeared in dozens of games voicing iconic protagonists, side characters, and done the same in animation and TV too. In Telltale’s The Walking Dead she voiced Katjaa, Jolene, and Brie, while in Firewatch she voiced Delilah. She is also the voice behind Sloane in Destiny 2.
Recently she appeared in another massive RPG, Baldur’s Gate 3, as The Absolute. As Andreja, she is one of the core companions and a potential lover if you play your cards right.
Elias Toufexis – Sam Coe
Like Cissy, Elias’ name is instantly recognizable. His most iconic role is Adam Jensen in Dues Ex. But, he has voiced many other characters in games including Prometheus in Immortals Fenyx Rising, Garner in Back 4 Blood, and The Penguin in Gotham Knights.
He has also appeared in Star Trek Discovery as Cold and L’ak. As Sam Coe in Starfield, Elias plays a core member of your crew and a companion that has a strong sense of justice.
Carlos Valdes – Matteo Khatri
Starfield is Carlos’ first game. He has been a regular in the CW DC Universe playing Cisco Ramon across Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. He has also appeared in a number of other shows but plays a core member of Constellation here.
