With pace that will make him one of the fastest FC 24 players and immense composure in front of goal, Mbappe is not only one of the best players in the real world, but is one of the best FC 24 strikers in-game as well. But will Mbappe’s FC 24 rating come in higher, lower, or the same as last year’s game, and will he once again boast meta-busting stats that will make him one of the most desirable (and expensive) cards in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team? He may have been booted off the cover for FC 24, with fellow phenom Erling Haaland taking his place, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t in a position to top the FC 24 ratings charts.
Mbappe FC 24 rating leak
The Kylian Mbappe FC 24 rating will be 91 overall, according to reports from reliable EA FC and FIFA leakers. These leaks also claim that Mbappe will be share the top spot in the FC 24 ratings with three other players.
Ahead of the FC 24 release date, ‘FUT Scoreboard‘ has leaked dozens of ratings, including those of the top players in the game. They claim that Mbappe will have a 91-rated card, which is the same overall rating he had in FIFA 23. As we explain below in our original predictions, this is the rating we expected him to receive.
Also similarly to last year, Mbappe is set to be the joint-highest-rated player in FC 24, tied with Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, and Alexia Putellas.
The leaks claim that Mbappe will once again have a ridiculous Ultimate Team card when it comes to stats. FUT Scoreboard claims the the Frenchman has 97 pace, 92 dribbling, 90 shooting, 82 passing, 78 physical, and 36 defending. You can pretty much guarantee he will be one of the FC 24 5-star skillers as well.

Our Mbappe FC 24 rating prediction
We predict that the Mbappe FC 24 rating is going to be 91, which is the same as his rating in FIFA 23. Due to his stellar performances for PSG last season, and claiming the Golden Boot at the 2022 World Cup with France, we think Mbappe has done more than enough to keep that 91 overall rating.
With Manchester City’s Erling Haaland stealing the headlines for his unbelievable scoring record last season, and with Argentina and Lionel Messi toppling France to lift the World Cup, Mbappe’s excellent season has gone somewhat unnoticed to a lot of casual soccer fans. In reality, he averaged more than a goal a game for France in Qatar (including a hat-trick in the final), bagged 29 goals and five assists for PSG in Ligue 1, and impressed in the Champions League too despite his team’s early exit.
While we predict that EA Sports won’t increase or decrease Mbappe’s FC 24 rating compared to last year, we personally believe that the Frenchman is deserving of a +1 boost up to 92 after the season he’s just had. At the end of the day, Mbappe’s excellent goal-scoring record is proof that a small nudge up the ratings charts is necessary. His brilliance last season, however, has been shrouded by Haaland’s record-shattering form, and with the Norwegian also booting him out as cover star for FC 24, we sadly don’t think EA Sports will agree with us and give Mbappe the 92 rating he deserves.
Mbappe will no doubt have blistering pace once again, hovering around the 97 pace stat that he’s held the last two games. With yet another prolific season under his belt though, we’re hoping his base shooting stat gets bumped up from 89 to 90. We don’t expect any other major increases or decreases across other stats like dribbling and passing, so aside from a bump to shooting, the Mbappe we get in FC 24 will likely be almost identical to the one we got in FIFA 23. But that’s hardly a bad thing, is it?
One difference we do have this year though is the introduction of FC 24 PlayStyles, a new mechanic that replaces the Traits system. We can confidently predict that he’ll have one or two PlayStyle+ attributes as well, which are boosted versions reserved for only the best players. Expect to see PlayStyles like Flair, Rapid, and Finesse Shot on Mbappe for FC 24.
One thing we – and the entire world right now, it seems – can’t predict is who Mbappe will actually be playing for in FC 24 as a transfer saga around the 24-year-old continues to rumble on. At the time of writing, he’s still on the books at PSG, but with links to Real Madrid, Chelsea, the MLS, and Saudi Arabian teams, he may end up slotting into more teams than he previously would as a Ligue 1 player.
