Now that FC 24 is out in the wild, we’ve had experience with the 5 star skillers ourselves, though many on this list were officially confirmed by EA Sports even before launch.

As you can see, it’s not just the top players like Mbappé and Neymar that can be blessed with 5 star skills – there are even silver and bronze-quality players that can do all the same tricks as these superstars. With a total of 80 players with 5 star skills, there’s a diverse range to choose from and, hopefully, you’ll be lucky enough to at least get a few of the best ones in your pack openings.

While there are plenty of familiar skillers on this list, there are some new additions that will be able to perform every skill move the game has to offer.

Napoli’s superstar winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was only given 4 star skills at the start of last year’s game but he’s been upgraded to become a 5 star skiller in FC 24. With a huge ratings boost and an upgrade to 5 star skills, the Georgian is now one of the best FC 24 wingers.

Similarly, Jamal Musiala is one of the best FC 24 CAMs for the same reasons as Kvaratskhelia. The Bayern Munich youngster is going to be a very desirable card this year, especially with 5 star skills.

Our prediction of Jeffinho, a young Brazilian talent entering his second season with Lyon, becoming a 5 star skiller also came to fruitition. While he didn’t have a card on Ultimate Team last year, he did feature in FIFA 23 Career Mode – with 5 star skills, no less. As such, we assumed this would remain intact and he’d become one of the 5 star skillers in Ultimate Team. This materialized now that we’ve had hands on, with Jeffinho having 5 star skill moves and a Technical playstyle

There are plenty of 5 star skillers from the women’s game that will feel new to FUT players, such as Putellas, Marta, and Beth Mead. However, these players all technically had 5 star skills in FIFA 23 – all except one, Lauren James. The England winger has now been upgraded from 4 star to 5 star skills, and after an incredible season and Women’s World Cup (bar that infamous red card, of course) she’s also had a ratings boost as well.

FC 24 5 star skillers Icons and Heroes

As you might have noticed in the FC 24 5 star skillers list above, there are a number of new and returning Icons and Hero cards that 5 star skill ratings. These are:

  • Andrea Pirlo – Icon
  • David Ginola – Hero
  • Eric Cantona – Icon
  • Franck Ribery – Icon (NEW)
  • Garrincha – Icon
  • Jairzinho – Icon
  • Jay-Jay Okocha – Hero
  • Johan Cruyff – Icon
  • Juan Roman Riquelme – Icon
  • Kaka – Icon
  • Mia Hamm – Icon (NEW)
  • Pele – Icon
  • Robert Baggio – Icon
  • Ronaldinho – Icon
  • Ronaldo Nazario – Icon
  • Zico – Icon (NEW)
  • Zinedine Zidane – Icon

The only changes here compared to last year are the three new FC 24 Icons to the game in Mia Hamm, Franck Ribery, and Zico. The likes of Zidane, Pele, and Ronaldinho will all retain their 5 star skill moves from previous games, so no surprises there.

FC 24 best 5 star skillers

The top 20 best FC 24 5 star skillers are:

  • Pele – 95
  • Ronaldo Nazario – 94
  • Zinedine Zidane – 94
  • Johan Cruyff – 93
  • Mia Hamm – 93
  • Ronaldinho – 93
  • Garrincha – 92
  • Robert Baggio – 91
  • Zico – 91
  • Alexia Putellas – 91
  • Kylian Mbappé – 91
  • Andrea Pirlo – 90
  • Caroline Graham Hansen – 90
  • David Ginola – 89
  • Kaka – 89
  • Eric Cantona – 89
  • Jairzinho – 89
  • Neymar – 89
  • Vinícius Jr. – 89
  • Jay-Jay Okocha – 88

The important thing to note is that the Icon and Hero cards will be much more expensive and rare to come across, so don’t hold your hopes up. While the Icons generally have the best overall ratings in the game, like Pele’s staggering 95 rating, this doesn’t come cheap, unfortunately.

For a slightly more manageable list of the best 5 star skillers, we recommend keeping an eye out for the standard cards like Alexia Putellas, Kylian Mbappé, Caroline Graham Hansen, Neymar, and Vinícius Jr. These will still be expensive and hard to come by without putting in the work, but they’re more accessible than the Icons and Hero cards.

Nevertheless, one you’ve got some of the best players with 5 star skills, you’ll be able to dance around the pitch with not only a capable player in terms of raw ratings, but also tricks to outmatch your opponent.

Why should you use 5 star skillers in FC 24?

In FC 24, 5 star skillers are the only players capable of performing special 5 star skill moves, such as the Advanced Rainbow Flick, the Hocus Pocus, and the Triple Elastico. This exclusive club of players are the only ones that can pull these flamboyant moves off.

Not only do they look cool, but 5 star skill moves are often very effective at beating players in one-on-one situations. The beauty of it is that it’s not just players at the top end of the FC 24 ratings that can be blessed with 5 star skills, there are plenty of more affordable, lower-rated players that can pull of these moves too.

It’s not an essential requirement – plenty of the best FC 24 strikers, wingers, and midfielders don’t have 5 star skills, yet are still dominant on the pitch. However, it is added string to a players’ bow if they can perform the game’s coolest tricks.

How to identify a 5 star skiller in FC 24

Well, this list is an excellent place to start, so keep it bookmarked! However, if you want to check in-game, or maybe you want to see if a computer-generated player in FC 24 Career Mode has 5 star skills, all you need to do is go to their player bio.

The way you bring up the player bio does vary depending on which game mode or screen you’re on, but the most common methods are either pressing X on PlayStation or A on Xbox while hovering over a player in a team sheet view, then scrolling down the player profile screen until you see their skill move rating. The profile contains other information like work rates, nationalities, positions, age, and height, so that’s the page you’re looking for.

In the FUT Transfer Market, you can also bring up a player’s bio page by clicking down the right stick on your controller while hovering over their card.

That’s everything you need to know about the FC 24 5 star skillers, including the best 5 star skill players, Icons, Hero cards, and more. The added flair of skill moves is certainly fun, but that usually only applies to attacking players. If you’re looking for the best defensive players in the game, it’s also worth checking out the best FC 24 CBs and the best FC 24 GK ratings, and more position guides to build the strongest team possible. See you on the pitch.
