Whether you own a PS4 or PS5, Sony is giving players the chance to dive into the upcoming FC 24 free multiplayer weekend, where PS Plus subscriptions are wavered in a bid to bring players together.
When it comes to new PS5 games, you may be eyeing up FC 24 as a treat for yourself this holiday season. Not only is it one of the best sports games of the year, but FC 24 is one of the best PS5 games you play now – even if you’re just getting rinsed in FC 24 Ultimate Team. According to the PlayStation blog post, it details that players can “get ready for another online multiplayer weekend, starting December 9 at 12:01am through December 10 at 11:59pm local time.”
You’ll need a copy of the game prior to this, but if you haven’t renewed your PS Plus subscription or are yet to start a membership, this is an ideal opportunity to flex your skills on friends. Or if you’re brave enough, take on random FC 24 fanatics. Sony confirms that “online multiplayer is available without a PlayStation Plus membership during this time, so players can go head-to-head or play alongside other players online.”
Before it does happen, we recommend making sure that your FC 24 Pro Clubs squad is up to scratch, especially if you’re bringing your friends along for the ride.
