Balanced Flavors in Destiny 2 has a chance to drop from final blows using Pulse Rifles, Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles, and Bows. Given the broad requirements, there’s a wide range of powerful weapons you could make use of, including the new Stay Frosty Legendary Pulse Rifle obtainable through The Dawning event, or the explosive new Destiny 2 Hierarchy of Needs Exotic Bow. Simply get plenty of kills with your favourite weapon from one of the above weapon types and you’ll be set to earn some Balanced Flavors material.
Once you have earned a Balanced Flavors from final blows using Pulse Rifles, Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles, or Bows, an icon will appear on the right hand side of the screen to indicate the material has been acquired.
