If you’re a Destiny 2 guardian that’ll take on any job for the right price, you’ll be pleased to know that someone online has brought a bounty hunter from A Galaxy Far, Far Away to Bungie’s looter shooter using armour pieces from the brand new Spire of the Watcher dungeon. That’s right, you can actually emulate Star Wars’ Cad Bane in Destiny 2 thanks to some western-themed armour items introduced through Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph dungeon.
A Duros with a bone to pick with just about everyone, Cad Bane is something of a fan-favourite when it comes to the weird and wonderful array of scoundrels and scumbags in Star Wars. Featuring most recently in Disney Plus’ new Book of Boba Fett live action series, but a prominent character in the now-ended The Clone Wars animation, Cad Bane is known for his long overcoat, flat-brimmed hat, and devilish red eyes.
Capturing this all too well, Destiny 2 player ‘PinFun‘ has shared their appearance customisation options on Reddit and armour from the new Spire of the Watcher dungeon is at the heart of this incredible build.
As you can see below, PinFun has used the Opulent Stalker Mask from Season 7 and the Hazard Pay shader to recreate Cad Bane’s blue skin and red eyes.
Adding to this, the Gumshoe Gumption Grips, Luxe Vest, and Deep Pockets ornament for Lucky Pants have all been modified with the Rustberry shader to recreate the particular shade of weathered leather Cad Bane dons.
The whole look has then been completed with the TM-Earp Custom Cloaked Stetson cloak, from the Spire of the Watcher dungeon loot pool, using the Omnichronia shader.
We know it’s a shame that this incredible armour setup is only available for the best Destiny 2 Hunter build, but it proves that transmog features are the gifts that keep on giving – allowing you to create awesome appearances like this, without compromising your armour’s stats.
If you’re looking for something that packs a little more punch with your new Cad Bane armour, you can find out how to unlock Destiny 2’s Hierarchy of Needs and the Destiny 2 Exotic Revision Zero right here. The Destiny 2 Lightfall release date is right around the corner and we can’t wait to see what’s next from this game’s community – and Bungie, of course.
