Honkai Star Rail version 1.1 release date
The Honkai Star Rail version 1.1 release date is Wednesday, June 7, 2023, on PC and mobile platforms, as confirmed by HoYoverse in the Special Program livestream.
Furthermore, this supports the theory that Honkai Star Rail would adopt the six-week update schedule and current banner durations of Genshin Impact, Hoyoverse’s other game.

Honkai Star Rail 1.1 livestream Special Program
HoYoverse officially announced the Special Program Honkai Star Rail 1.1 livestream, ‘Galactic Roaming’, would take place on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 19:30 (UTC +8).
Accessible via the Honkai Star Rail YouTube and Twitch pages, the version 1.1 livestream Special Program covered all the information about the new update, including the 1.1 banners and new content.

Thanks to the Special Program livestream, we know all the new features, events, characters, and more coming with the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update. There’s a lot to be excited for in this first major update to the game.
Version 1.1 missions
Honkai Star Rail 1.1 will feature new companion missions, including for the anticipated new characters coming in the update, Silver Wolf and Luocha. When the release date lands, players will be able to learn more about these characters that so far we’ve only met rather briefly during the story.
New chat feature
Also confirmed during the Special Program, Honkai Star Rail 1.1 will include a new chat feature to allow players to chat with friends. This isn’t all that surprising considering Genshin Impact also has a chat feature, which fans expected would be in Honkai Star Rail right away. The in-game phone used for text conversations with NPCs during certain quests features similar emoji-style stickers that players can use in Genshin Impact as well, making it seem like it would be on the way. Nevertheless, having a chat feature will no doubt be a welcome addition in the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update.
This also confirmed leaks by ‘Team China’ that suggested such a feature would be coming in Honkai Star Rail version 1.1. Again, this is unconfirmed by HoYoverse but it seems likely that this leak is correct, given that a chat feature already exists in Genshin Impact. Moreover, the in-game phone used for text conversations with NPCs during certain quests features similar emoji-style stickers that players can use in Genshin Impact as well.
Enemy tracker
Players will also be able to track specific enemies in the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update. One issue highlighted by the community upon release was that it felt rather awkward to find and defeat specific enemy types needed to level up characters and Light Cones. Thankfully, with version 1.1, players will be able to mark specific enemies on the map to track them.
Version 1.1 banner schedule and new characters
Perhaps most excitingly, the Special Program revealed the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 banners for both phase one and phase two. We have a guide diving deeper into this specific topic, but two fan-favorite characters will be making their playable debut in the version 1.1 update.
This also confirmed several leaks pointing towards a completely new character in the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 banner schedule known as Yukong. Yukong is a four-star Imaginary character belonging to the Harmony Path that players will be able to acquire for the first time in version 1.1.
