The same can’t be said for Lionel Messi and Neymar, who both departed for new horizons.
Despite the distractions of the Mbappé situation, PSG have still been incredibly busy in the transfer market and are making yet another attempt to finally win major European silverware with the signings of Manuel Ugarte, Ousmane Dembele, Lucas Hernandez, and Milan Skrinar. So ahead of the FC 24 release date, what does this mean for the French team’s FC 24 ratings? Here are our predictions!

Winning Ligue 1 simply isn’t enough for PSG fans, ownership, or players anymore. The Champions League is the ultimate goal and each year the team is assembled around this singular goal.
The speculation that superstar Kylian Mbappé – one of the best FC 24 strikers, no doubt – would be heading to Real Madrid or Saudi Arabia is over (for now), meaning PSG are likely on a one-season timer to win everything before Mbappé leaves for free next season. We predict that his rating will increase slightly despite pre-release footage showing him staying at 91. He and Erling Haaland should share the highest rating in the game following outstanding seasons for these young stars. Both players had incredible domestic seasons and Mbappé also very nearly took France to back-to-back World Cup victories.
The arrivals of Milan Skriniar, Lucas Hernandez, Osumane Dembele, and Marco Asensio will bring a ton of experience to a team that has had issues during big matches but we don’t predict any of their ratings are likely to increase. On the other hand, new midfielder Manuel Ugarte should see a considerable ratings boost following his move from Sporting CP. The ferocious 22-year old defensive midfielder is known for his no-nonsense attitude and will happily get his hands dirty to ensure that PSG are defensively sound for the coming season.
While PSG may have earned a reputation for buying high-reputation players that might have given their best years to other clubs, they do also have some very exciting young talent that could gain more starting minutes this season. Hugo Ekitike, Nuno Mendes, and Vitinha all have the potential to be huge players and are all under 22 at the start of this season. Each of these potential stars should receive a ratings boost in FC 24 and they should each have potential ratings that drift into the mid-80’s or higher. Expect them to be decent pickups in FC 24 Career Mode too.
When it comes to the downgrades that PSG are likely to suffer, the main candidates are Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Danilo Pereira, and Marco Verratti. All of these players played a big role in a poor season that saw PSG barely win Ligue 1 and Trophée des Champions while losing in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and Coupe de France. We’re not expecting drastic changes, but each player looks set to lose at least one rating point in FC 24.
