Bungie and Amazon are back again with more free Destiny 2 items for you to claim with an active Prime Gaming membership; they really are the perfect addition to spooky season and the Festival of the Lost event. If you want the low-down on the latest Destiny 2 Prime Gaming rewards, how you claim them, and – importantly – why you should make sure you don’t miss out on them, then you’re in the right place.
We know Bungie’s satisfying gunplay and the impressive narrative told throughout Destiny 2 is the real reason why this shooter is considered one of the best FPS games out there, but chasing the latest loot is a huge part of the experience – for better or worse. That doesn’t mean you should turn down free loot from Prime Gaming, though; in fact, we think you should almost always do the opposite of that. Free stuff is always fun, right?
If you agree, then you’re in luck. Thanks to Prime Gaming, Bungie is giving players a bundle of in-game cosmetics – and some Exotic engrams – to celebrate the Festival of the Lost event and, more-generally, spooky season. All Destiny 2 players need to do is link their active Bungie account with an Amazon Prime (or Twitch Prime) account – both of which are linked and have access to Prime Gaming – to get their hands on some freebies.
From October 20 at 09:00 PDT / 12:00 EST / 17:00 BST for roughly a month, anyone wanting free items in Destiny 2 can head over to the main Prime Gaming webpage right here and click to claim the following items:
- Boo – Exotic Emote
- Winchester’s Ruin – Exotic Sparrow
- The Lycan’s Mire Shell – Legendary Ghost Shell
- Festival of the Lost Sigil – Legendary Ghost Projection
- Legendary Engram x2
- Exotic Engram x2
If you want to check out what those look like, you can find out below:
We know a new Ghost Shell cosmetic isn’t necessarily anything to get too excited about, but free Exotic engrams aren’t to be frowned upon. If you want to maximise your chances of getting all the best Destiny 2 armor, then you’ll want to have as many of these to hand as you can get.
Oh, and if you don’t have an active Prime Gaming account and you want to check it out, we have you covered. Check out the below:
That being said, getting Exotics is easier than ever right now. The new Festival of the Lost event is the best Exotic farm in Destiny 2 at the moment and you really shouldn’t miss out on the best Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost reward if you’re looking for a reason to get stuck into this event. Free Exotic engrams outside of this never hurt, though, and the Prime Gaming rewards take seconds to claim.
Whether you’re just out here looking for the best Destiny 2 weapons for your next dungeon, or you’re chasing the best Destiny 2 Hunter build, the best Destiny 2 Warlock build, or the best Destiny 2 Titan build, these Prime Gaming rewards will help you get there. And, let’s be real here, who doesn’t want the Boo emote for free?
