If you want to get your hands on the upcoming Warzone Little Ceasers skin, you’re going to need to buy some pizza soon. Ahead of Modern Warfare 3’s launch, Little Ceasers employees are sharing images of a new operator skin available exclusively via a Call of Duty promo with the pizza chain – and it’ll be available in both MW3 and the free-to-play battle royale Warzone. We can only hope this means a pizza cutter melee weapon blueprint is on the way, too.
With Modern Warfare 3 early access and the full Modern Warfare 3 release date closing in, Call of Duty is collaborating with restaurant chain Little Ceasers to bring an exclusive operator skin to both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players. This isn’t the first promo we’ve seen, and it won’t be the last, but we certainly want in on it. Will it make this one of the best battle royale games out there, though? For what it’s worth, we think the new Warzone map holds more sway there. However, you do also get pizza with this one – which isn’t a bad thing.
As you can see in this social media post from ‘DETONATED‘ below, which seems to be sourced from Call of Duty content creator ‘Ghost.midi‘ originally, the new operator skin coming to Call of Duty is one worth getting. It’s a largely black skin, which is always a plus, with some orange accents – and an orange mask covering most of the face. So, we don’t know who this operator skin is for just yet, but we don’t think it will be for characters like Captain Price or Makarov.
One thing fans are point out is that this also comes with a pizza cutter; at least, the operator has one clipped to his equipment. We don’t know if this is suggesting a melee weapon blueprint is on the way, but imagine Little Ceasers would sell a lot more pizza if this was something you could get your hands on. We don’t know all the details about this promo yet, so there’s still hope.
The promo itself, though, isn’t much of a surprise. The recent Call of Duty Next stream was “presented by Little Ceasers” after all. What is surprising, though, is that rumors suggested that this promo would only extend to double XP tokens and forgettable cosmetics like Emblems and Calling Cards. The fact that we have an exclusive operator skin on the way is exciting and makes this whole thing much more worthwhile.
However, one thing worth noting is that this could be a promo that is limited to North American Little Ceasers customers – something we’ve seen in previous promos from Call of Duty. There are a handful of these restaurants in the UK and throughout Europe, but these things are often region restricted. So, while we wait for Call of Duty to confirm this detail, it’s worth keeping your expectations in check.
Will this skin become the Warzone meta when it drops? Well, we don’t know, but we do see these promo skins used frequently when they’re available. So, while it might not be a completely black skin, we could see quite a few running around Urzikstan in the future.
While we wait for a little more information on that, though, you can check out the latest on all the best Warzone loadouts and builds for the best Warzone guns right here. We know Call of Duty is hitting Warzone’s most popular gun with a nerf, again, but we still think there’s life in the old dog yet.
