The Combat Shotgun was a very deadly weapon from Call of Duty Warzone, and during the Caldera era it had one of the best ranges of any shotgun.
It packed some serious punch and with the correct attachments it ranked among the best Warzone guns for close-range combat. However, you had to think very carefully about how you would set up the rest of your loadout. While it was extremely powerful up close, ensuring you had the right secondary and gear to deal with other situations was vital.

As WhosImmortal rightly points out, this Combat Shotgun is more than capable of one-shot kills through full armour – if you’re in close quarters and you landed your shot perfectly. But, you still want to make sure you’ve got the best attachments, perks, and secondary in your loadout.
In this build, the muzzle and barrel bolster the wider pellet spread which is key for close quarter battles. The Sawed-Off barrel also adds to your Combat Shotgun’s movement speed and damage, ideal for this pump-action shotgun. The Adjustable Stock, Pine Tar Grip, and Carver Foregrip all help that hip-fire accuracy.
The only tweak we’ve made is swapping out the Fully Loaded weapon perk with Quick, which will give you a massive boost to your movement speed which will help you in those close-range fights.
Combat Shotgun Warzone loadout secondary
When running with a shotgun, you’ve clearly got your close-range covered, but all your fights won’t be at that range. So, you’ll need a nicely balanced mid-range weapon to help you out and for this, we’d recommend carrying an assault rifle such as the Automaton or the very popular STG44.
