This updated build comes courtesy of ‘Ryda’, though barring the optic of choice there aren’t any real changes from what we’d typically advise for the Lachmann-556.
This class setup boosts the Lachmann-556’s damage, range, accuracy, and recoil control to make it one of, if not the top of the Warzone best guns list. The attachments do make it a little heavier and a pain to lug around, but the improvements to the gun’s DPS are well worth it.
For the muzzle, we’ve gone with the Harbinger D20 to increase sound suppression, bullet velocity, and range. We’ve tuned it for recoil smoothness and bullet velocity to further improve these aspects and make it incredibly deadly at longer ranges. It will reduce overall aim down sight speed and stability, but we’ll make up for that elsewhere.
In the next slot, we’ve opted for the 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP barrel. This long barrel essentially improves bullet velocity, range, recoil control, and hip fire accuracy. We’ve tuned this towards recoil steadiness and damage range.
The FTAC Ripper 56 is the perfect underbarrel attachment, improving aiming idle stability, hip fire accuracy, and recoil stabilization at the cost of walking speed and aim down sight speed. While you could tune this towards recoil stabilization to improve this even further, we’ve opted to improve aim down sight speed and aiming idle stability.
As for the optic, the AIM OP-V4 is the meta right now, offering a great optic at the cost of aim down sight speed. However, Ryda has opted instead for the SZ Recharge-DX. Either way, you’re laughing.
In the final slot, we’ve gone for a 60-round mag just to maximize your chances in engagements. The last thing you want is to get caught off guard while reloading.
This Lachmann-556 loadout is based on ‘Ryda’s’ setup, which you can find below, though in our experience using the weapon, we’ve made a few tweaks to weapon tuning. Most notably, we prefer tuning for aim down sight speed over recoil stabilization on the FTAC Ripper 56 to soften the blow of the other attachments on this stat.
Warzone Lachmann-556 class setup
As a long range AR, we definitely advise running the Lachmann-556 with an SMG – either the best Warzone Lachmann Sub loadout or best Warzone FSS Hurricane loadout are great choices. These will let you go toe to toe with any enemy, no matter the range, as you’ll have the Lachmann-556 for long range and a trusty SMG for the more chaotic, close range fights.
For the perk packages, if you want Overkill, you’ll have to run Weapons Specialist. This is how we’re able to use both the Lachmann and an SMG. This means you’ll also have High Alert, Fast Hands, and Double Time – all excellent supporting perks. Otherwise, something like Specter will be perfect for this – that gives you Double Time, Tracker, Spotter, and Ghost.
