Respawn Entertainment’s free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends is just getting bigger and better with the Season 14 update and we can’t wait to dive back into a reforged Kings Canyon with Vantage – and Echo, of course. We know the Apex Legends Kings Canyon rework should shake up the meta, but when does that new meta even begin? If you’re reading this and you want to know about the Apex Legends Season 14 release time, you’re in the right place – we have everything you need to know below.

We know Apex Legends’ Hunted season might not feel like its’ largest, but there’s so much to look forward to. Apex Legends Season 14 finally removes Self Revive from the battle royale, there are some significant Season 14 weapon changes to keep an eye on, and Apex Legends is rethinking ultimate abilities with Vantage’s Sniper’s Mark.

However, while it’s all well and good looking forward to this, we still want to know when it’s all being released. We need to start working on Apex Legends’ new level cap – right?

So, with that in mind, you’ll be pleased to know that Apex Legends’ Season 14 update is due to release at the following time on August 9: 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 17:00 GMT. Respawn Entertainment should follow the same update schedule as Season 13, Season 12, and all major updates prior.

While we’re still waiting on some Apex Legends patch notes, there’s still a lot to unpack when it comes to the information we know about. Apex Legends’ Season 14 EVA-8 buff could change the meta; We don’t know the details yet, but we know it’s going to make the semi-auto shotgun even quicker than it is right now.

In addition to this, we need to start thinking about how the Hunted update is going to affect our Apex Legends tier list. Apex Legends’ devs say that Ash and Rampart are among the best pairings for new-legend Vantage. However, this isn’t to say that some of the lesser-used legends aren’t due a comeback. We’re expecting Respawn Entertainment to introduce a handful of legend changes to bring characters like Maggie and Newcastle back into the fray.

However, we’ll have to wait until the Apex Legends Season 14 release time to find out more about them. Right now, we’ll just have to be happy that the Apex Legends devs have confirmed that Vantage’s bat Echo is “just too cute” to kill. We’re not sure we could consider Apex Legends as one of the best battle royale games out there right now if that wasn’t the case.
