There’s still time to get your WASD ticket to see over 40 new games

WASD x IGN is around the corner, and if you haven't got tickets yet there is still time to attend and play over 40 games including Tekken 8 and Ghostrunner 2.

If you didn’t manage to attend Gamescom this year but still want to see many of the upcoming PS5 games and upcoming Xbox games that 2023 has to offer, then WASD x IGN will be of interest to you. It is a great chance to play some of the best games around, and the good news is there is still time to get yourself a ticket.

There will be over 40 playable games at WASD x IGN, including:

  • Tekken 8
  • Ghostrunner 2
  • Total War Pharoah
  • Total War Warhammer 3
  • Nivalis
  • Moving Out 2
  • Zephon

Tekken 8 is one of the biggest titles to grace WASD next week. With heavy competition in the form of Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6, we’re more than ready to see legendary fighters like Jin Kazama step back into the arena – this time with the horsepower of the PlayStation 5. The Tekken 8 release date is still a few months away yet, so this is a prime opportunity to see whether Bandai Namco is crafting something special.

Following our hands-on Ghostrunner 2 preview at Gamescom, we were left mighty impressed, and we also spoke to the developer about the game’s new, refined gameplay. You’ll be able to experience it for yourself at WASD, and it’s one we definitely recommend checking out.

Nivalis also isn’t to be missed as developer Ion Lands is set to deliver somewhat of a spiritual successor to the brilliant Cloudpunk, with the game’s aesthetic and tone. You can check out the full roster of playable games here.

WASD x IGN tickets

WASD x IGN will also host multiple special events, including a live edition of the My Perfect Console podcast. Other unique additions include the Curios Indie Game Showcase, which appears in collaboration with our friends over at PCGamesN.

“We are looking forward to supporting and showcasing some unconventional indie titles that reimagine what games can be,” WASD says. “Last year we had 17 weird & wonderful titles, and we hope this year to show you the best of the underground.”

WASD x IGN kicks off next week and  will run from Thursday, September 14 until Saturday, September 16. If all of that sounds like fun to you, then you can grab your tickets for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday here. For those of you are who are creators or members of the press, don’t forget to submit an application form too.
