We’re all looking for that chance to see upcoming PS5 games and upcoming Xbox games, and if you’re eager to play them yourself, you’re in luck. Later this year, WASD x IGN will bring together the gaming community to sample some of the best games releasing in 2023 and beyond, as well as seeing the My Perfect Console podcast appear for a special live show.

According to a fresh announcement via the official WASD Twitter page, attendees can expect to see “the incredibly talented and award-winning Simon Parkin bring his ‘My Perfect Console’ podcast live and direct to WASD x IGN.” Tickets for Parkin’s My Perfect Console appearance at on sale now, and be purchased here.

The special podcast show will happen on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 7:00 PM BST / 11:00 AM PT, and 2:00 PM ET.

My Perfect Console brings together guests across the world of gaming and entertainment to not only discuss their careers, but to pick the five videogames they would install on their dream console. The podcast has already been graced by the likes of Horizon Forbidden West star Ashly Burch, C-Smash VRS director Jörg Tittel, Iain Cook of the band CHVRCHES, and XCOM and Marvel’s Midnight Suns creator Jake Solomon.

With “hundreds of screens of playable games” and opportunities for hands-off previews too, event director and Roucan co-founder Matt Styles says “David [Lilley] and I have a proven history of delivering mainstream and independent games events in the UK, and we’re confident this is the right event in the right timeline with the right support from the industry.”

IGN’s Director of Events and Partnerships Michael Peyton shares the excitement: “We’re excited to wrap up the Summer events season with WASD x IGN […] we’re looking forward to a lot of great gaming content live in the heart of London.”

WASD x IGN will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2023, and conclude on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
