Valorant’s Bind is returning soon, but one map is leaving the rotation

A Valorant map pool change is on the way in patch 6.08, with a revamped Bind finally returning to Riot Games' FPS. But one map will be put on ice in return.

Valorant patch 6.08 map pool change: Brimstone on Bind

Valorant developer Riot Games recently announced that Bind would be returning to the FPS game’s map pool with patch 6.08. However, in keeping with its seven map ethos, one has to go. The studio has now announced that Icebox will be sent to the bleachers.

Taking to Twitter to share the news, Riot also states that the updates to Bind will actually go live “in all other modes” it is currently available in with Valorant patch notes 6.07. From the looks of the changes implemented, the revamped Bind will be a fine addition to the Valorant maps when it’s reintegrated.

While Fnatic star Nikita ‘Derke’ Sirmitev – an absolute terror on Icebox – has already expressed his discontent with the removal of the map for now in the tweet’s replies, a number of fans in the same thread are conversely revelling in the decision.
