Tears of the Kingdom players creatively prank Korok’s across Hyrule

Tears of the Kingdom is already spawning some brilliant Fuse creations and Ultrahand mayhem, and some players are using them to prank Korok's all over Hyrule.

After years of patiently waiting and scouring every The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom trailer, the moment to explore every nook and cranny of Hyrule is here. Cunning Nintendo Switch users are already mastering the selection of Tears of the Kingdom powers and abilities, leading to hilarious encounters with the environment and innocent Korok’s residing in the game. But forget about collecting those Tears of the Kingdom Korok seeds – this is what you need to do first.

Though the Korok are cute and friendly, offering us much-needed inventory space along the way, players like Zelda Redditor ‘RadBrad4333’ are using their time to devise bizarre contraptions that use the Korok as test subjects. “My Korok Space Program Needs more testing,” jokes the Redditor as they show off an inventive hovercraft system.

However, they may need to take it back to the drawing board, as the first flight test doesn’t exactly ape the virtuosity of Top Gun Maverick’s pilots. Yes, though the innovation of RadBrad’s hovercraft is well-intentioned, unfortunately, it sent this particular Korok to an early demise. But there is hope yet for sending these lovely tree creatures on their merry way across the skies of Hyrule.

We’d like to point your attention to TikTok user ‘Yautrek‘, who displays tenacity and prowess when it comes to improving Tears of the Kingdom vehicles. There isn’t any need for them to request the help of a Tears of the Kingdom companion on this occasion, as they mastermind a brilliant rocketship that can journey through the game’s world with immense speed.

Although the fate of the brave Korok inside the rocketship isn’t revealed in the TikTok clip, we certainly hope their journey was a pleasant one, that’s for sure.
