From free monthly games to an ever-expanding game library to take on Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus is consistently dropping great titles onto your lap. In fact, the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games in March 2024 bring up to 13 additions to your Game Catalog, including a haunting horror game and one of the best superhero games out there.
Available from Tuesday, March 19, 2024, PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers on PS5 will get to enjoy 13 new games from the library, with PS4 players missing out on two PS5 exclusives. Of the bunch, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Resident Evil 3 remastered, and NBA 2K24 are certainly the standouts, though you can’t go wrong with any of the offerings. Plus, this keeps up the pace from the new PS Plus free games already available this month to Essential tier subscribers and above.
Although it’s remarkably underappreciated, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is one of the best RPG games for superhero lovers. Bringing your favorite heroes to the table, as well as some you didn’t know you loved until giving the game a try, Midnight Suns’ tactical, turn-based combat is hard to put down. With such a diverse cast and great writing, it’s also got a great, unique story under the hood. Though it might not be as fast-paced as Spider-Man 2, it’s too good to miss out on and will certainly tide you over until the Marvel’s Wolverine release date.
On the other end of the spectrum, Resident Evil 3 is one of the best horror games. Sure, it’s not quite as terrifyingly intense as its predecessor, looking to amp up the action over the scares, but RE3 is a classic for a reason. As S.T.A.R.S officer Jill Valentine, you’ll be fighting to escape an infested Racoon City with all the odds stacked against you.
NBA 2K24 takes the crown as one of the best sports games, dominating the basketball sim space with fluid controls and much-needed refinements to the experience over its predecessor. This includes improving its core modes and significantly enhancing its visuals and presentation – and it pays off.
