Mortal Kombat 1 features Kustomization for maximum fighting drip

Though the new MK1 character redesigns are very cool in the NetherRealm fighter, Mortal Kombat 1 Kustomization takes their style up a few notches.

Mortal Kombat 1 customisation

Mastering the movesets of Mortal Kombat 1 is just one part of getting to know who your favorite fighters are. No matter which of the Mortal Kombat 1 characters you pick, giving them a makeover makes them stand out in the arena, especially in multiplayer. Ahead of the Mortal Kombat 1 release date, a new Mortal Kombat 1 Kustomization is making the rounds early on social media.

Following their leak of the Mortal Kombat 1 roster, which includes a Deadly Alliance favorite, ‘thethiny’ shares an alleged look at the “Mortal Kombat 1 official ‘Kustomization’ mini trailer.” Though the footage does off small changes to Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Smoke, and Reptile’s designs, the authenticity of this promotional trailer is yet to be confirmed.

The feature that MK fans will recognize from previous entries, like Mortal Kombat 11, allows players to change aesthetic elements of each fighter on the game’s roster. Ranging from different outfits, tattoos to weapon skins, you can spend considerable time tweaking various options.

With such a vibrant cast of characters in MK1, the ability to add some personality to your preferred fighters will likely be welcomed with open arms by newcomers and diehard fans alike.

One character that will be undoubtedly be tons of fun to customize is Johnny Cage. Enjoying a lavish Hollywood lifestyle has plenty of perks, including access to some exceptional outfits. But there is more to Cage than just his own presence in MK1. Jean-Claude Van Damme will appear in the game, kind of, in a great full circle moment for the franchise. Whether he will arrive with more than just his Bloodsport inspired outfit is unclear, but it’d be a missed opportunity if there wasn’t more outfits from his wider filmography.
