Monster Hunter Rise High Rank explained
In Monster Hunter Rise, the quests and hunts you can embark on are split into two categories: Low Rank and High Rank. High Rank in Monster Hunter Rise allows you to unlock High Rank armor forging, more quests, decoration crafting. In addition, there will be even more benefits available to you once you reach the end game.
When you start the game, you’ll be in Low Rank, though the game will not point this out to you. After you progress further in the game, you’ll gain access to Monster Hunter Rise High Rank and the associated effects.
How to unlock High Rank in Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise High Rank is unlocked once you reach the four star quests in the Gathering Hub missions. However, if you are below four stars in the Gathering Hub, you can also unlock High Rank in Monster Hunter Rise through completing Special License Tests unlocked periodically as you progress through the Village Quests storyline.
Completing Special License Tests will allow you to increase your Gathering Hub Quest level by one rank. This will let you effectively bypass the earlier stages of the Gathering Hub if you have progressed sufficiently through the Village Quests.
