What is the best Honkai Star Rail Luocha build?

The best Honkai Star Rail Luocha build is:

  • Relics – Passerby of Wandering Cloud (2pc), Space Sealing Station (2pc), Musketeer of Wild Wheat (2pc)
  • Light Cone – Echoes of the Coffin
  • Stats – ATK, outgoing healing, SPD
  • Role – Healer/Support
  • Team – Seele, Himeko, Bronya, Luocha

As an Abundance Path character, Luocha is a valuable healer and support character for your team. Most importantly, Luocha’s healing scales off his ATK stat, so he’ll still be able to dish out some damage while keeping the team alive. It’s worth bearing this in mind as we’re not looking to increase his HP stat like a healer would normally want.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the Relic set-piece bonuses, Light Cone alternatives, stat priority and more to make the best Luocha build in Honkai Star Rail.

Which Relics should I use for Luocha in Honkai Star Rail?

The best Honkai Star Rail Luocha build has a wide range of Relics that can be used to boost his effectiveness.

Relic Set Effect
Passerby of Wandering Cloud

Two-piece: Increases outgoing healing by 10%.

Four-piece: At the beginning of battle, immediately recovers one skill point.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat Two-piece: Increases ATK by 10%.
Space Sealing Station Two-piece: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, their ATK increases by another 12%.

With the unique ATK scaling for Luocha, the best Relic setup for him will make use of Passerby of Wandering Cloud, Musketeer of Wild Wheat, and Space Sealing Station. Having the two-piece bonuses of all three sets will increase his ATK stat to improve healing and increase outgoing healing by 10%. Overall, this build will maximize both his damage and healing capabilities to make him a powerful support character in many teams.

On the other hand, you could use four-pieces of Passerby of Wandering Cloud and two-pieces Space Sealing Station if you would rather start with a skill point in battle over the added ATK of Musketeer of Wild Wheat.

Which Light Cone should I use for Luocha in Honkai Star Rail?

Luocha’s signature Light Cone, Echoes of the Coffin, is best-in-slot for the best Honkai Star Rail Luocha build, though there are several alternatives, especially thanks to his attack scaling healing. If you’re free-to-play or simply don’t have her Light Cone, then fret not as you won’t be left in the dust.

Light Cone Effect
Echoes of the Coffin (Best) Increase the ATK of the wearer by 20%, and after using an ultimate other allies gain 16 speed for one turn. Additionally, for each different target the wearer attacks, recover five Energy. Each attack can recover Energy a maximum of three times.
Time Waits for No One (Alt)

Increases the wearer’s max HP by 12% and outgoing healing by 12%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of outgoing healing. When an ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional damage equal to 50% of the recorded outgoing healing value.

This additional damage is of the same type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur once per turn.

Shared Feeling (Alt) Increases the wearer’s outgoing healing by 10%. When using a skill, regenerates 2 Energy for all allies.
Cornucopia (F2P) When the wearer uses their skill or ultimate, their outgoing healing increases by 12%.

Echoes of the Coffin is undoubtedly the best Light Cone for Luocha since it increases ATK (and therefore healing) while also providing a SPD boost to allies after using his ultimate. With Luocha’s main role being a healer and support, this is the perfect Light Cone, particularly as the bonus Energy recovering effect can help to keep the ball rolling.

Another great five-star Light Cone option is Time Waits for No One, Bailu’s signature Light Cone. While the increased HP won’t help with his healing, it can be a nice safety net. The more important bonuses are the boosts to outgoing healing and the additional damage it will deal when allies attack after being healed.

These two five-star Light Cones aren’t easy to come by however, but there are some great alternatives. For example, the four-star Only Shared Feeling is his best free-to-play option, providing additional outgoing healing and regenerating Energy for allies when using a skill. There’s also the three-star Cornucopia which increases outgoing healing when using a skill or ultimate ability.

The best Honkai Star Rail Luocha team comp is Seele, Himeko, Bronya, and Luocha.

Character 1 Character 2 Character 3 Character 4
Seele (Main DPS) Jing Yuan (DPS) Bronya (Support) Luocha (Healer)
Welt (DPS) Yukong (Support DPS) Silver Wolf (Support DPS) Luocha (Healer)
Dan Heng (Main DPS) Serval (DPS)/March 7th (Tank) Asta/Tingyun (Support) Luocha (Healer)

Luocha has strong healing potential, especially in aggressive teams  thanks to his Abyss Field mechanic. As such, Seele and Jing Yuan will be the damage dealers in single-target and AoE respectively. To help them out, Bronya will boost ATK and grant extra turns, most often to Seele. Luocha will keep the time alive with his healing while also dealing a fair amount of damage due to his unique ATK scaling.

For a free-to-play Luocha team, Dan Heng and Serval will lead the team as the main DPS, in single-target and AoE respectively. Asta or Tingyun will be a great support to boost the damage of your team. Once again, Luocha will be the healer in this aggressive team. If you’re finding yourself in need of more survivability, Serval could be replaced by March 7th to fill in as a tank.

These can be generated by dispelling debuffs using his ultimate or healing allies with his skill. Eidolons are the equivalent of Constellations from Genshin Impact, acting as permanent buffs for characters after each additional copy of the character you receive.

Luocha’s Eidolons centre around increasing his healing and supportive capabilities. His first Eidolon, for example, increases healing on allies under 50% HP, while granting a weak shield to those at or above 50% of their max HP. Similarly, his fourth Eidolon causes enemies to become weakened and deal less damage when affected by his Abyss Flower Field.
