HoYoverse is finally detailing the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 1.5 banners ahead of the next major title update and it’s good news for PS5 players. Alongside an interesting selection of fresh Honkai Star Rail characters, a fantastic five-star unit is making a return; it’s actually going to be the first chance console players have to get their hands on them.
Honkai Star Rail is one of the best new PS5 games out there right now – and that’s not just because it’s free-to-play. It might not be the first title that comes to mind when you think about the best RPG games available, but HoYoverse’s gacha game is surprisingly deep and presents players with a wonderful narrative to explore. While playing, though, you’re going to want to make sure you have the best Honkai Star Rail team comp ready to go. So, the fact that HoYoverse is offering us an updated Honkai Star Rail banner schedule ahead of the next update – which tells you what Honkai Star Rail characters you can expect to see in version 1.5 – is far from a bad thing.
Yes, you can, and Phase 2 of Honkai Star Rail version 1.5 will be the first time PS5 players can get their hands on an existing character well-worth having. Thanks to HoYoverse’s latest announcement, we now know that Honkai Star Rail version 1.5 will launch on November 15 and see the following banners made available to players:
- Bloom in Gloom – Huohuo (five-star), Dan Heng (four-star), Arlan (four-star), Serval (four-star)
- Thorns of Scented Crown – Argenti (five-star), Hanya (four-star), Lynx (four-star), Asta (four-star)
- Contract Zero – Silver Wolf (five-star), Hanya (four-star), Lynx (four-star), Asta (four-star)
There will be a couple more banners to come, but this is everything HoYoverse has shared with us so far. Bloom in Gloom should kick things off in the first phase, which will last a couple of weeks, and then Thorns of Scented Crown and Contract Zero should follow. That’s when you want to be going after Silver Wolf, a five-star Quantum Nihility path character that’s great at debuffing enemies.
While Luocha is always going to be the better healer unit, Huohuo is also a fantastic pull for PS5 players looking for a support to add to their squad. Honkai Star Rail players on PS5 are missing this meta unit, after all. So, the fact that Huohuo is becoming available is perfect for anyone without Luocha.
Argenti is also worth keeping an eye out for as a Erudition character who could very-well outmatch your Destruction characters when it comes to AoE damage. Only time will tell, there, though. Four-star characters like Hanya and Lynx will be worth picking up for anyone with a lacklustre second team – something you’ll need for modes like Forgotten Hall.
With a slightly late spooky vibe and new areas in the Xianzhou Luofu to explore, it’s worth making sure you’re up to date on claiming the latest Honkai Star Rail codes ahead of time. You may also want to check out this new Honkai Star Rail unit who’s both the most annoying character yet and an absolute must-have for anyone playing; he’s expected to arrive in version 1.6, so you don’t need to worry about trying to pull him just yet.
