One of the more minor ways you can enhance and upgrade your character in Hogwarts Legacy is through the use of passive stat buffs. These are equipped via a number of different Hogwarts Legacy Traits. These Traits give a large variety of bonuses and buffs.
Below, you can find an overview of each one which we have got during our Hogwarts Legacy review playthrough. Traits are just one aspect of the game when it comes to upgrading your character. In addition to using them, you will want to use the best Hogwarts Legacy spells and the best Hogwarts Legacy Talents.

There are a total of 75 Traits in Hogwarts Legacy, split into Offence and Defence categories

Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.
While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
