Halo Infinite’s Spartan Cores are arguably the most important resource in Halo Infinite. These collectibles are vital as they allow you to upgrade Master Chief’s gear, which are five tools that can give him the edge in combat.
As we have spent some time with the game, we have been able to find all of the Halo Infinite gear and equipment locations and also highlight some of Halo Infinite’s best upgrades for that gear, but to actually obtain them, you’re gonna need some Cores. Spartan Cores can be found in linear missions and in the open world so you will have to properly scour every level and corner of the Zeta Halo Ring to collect them all.

Halo Infinite Spartan Core Locations
Halo Infinite’s campaign has 45 Spartan Cores which can be found in chests throughout the game. They’re tucked away in some hard to reach locations, so you’re going to need a hand finding them all. They can be found in each of the game’s main areas:
- Connections Spartan Core Locations
- Lockdown Spartan Core locations
- Graveyards Spartan Core locations
- Reformation Spartan Core locations
CONNECTIONS SPARTAN CORE LOCATIONS
The first Spartan Core in the game is in the first corridor at the start of the Outpost Tremonius mission. If you missed it during the mission it is in the bottom tunnels of the outpost.
This Spartan Core chest is behind Outpost Tremonius in the north of the map, by a piece of rubble at the rear.
Just to the side of Outpost Tremonius you can find the Spartan Core sitting next to a building.
This Spartan Core chest is north of the Ik Novus Target and is sitting inside a Forerunner armory at the base of an overlook tower. Watch out, as there are strong enemies with Energy Swords in this room.
In the north-east corner of the Redoubt of Sundering Outpost you can find this chest. It is sat on the ground floor of the base behind some Banished supply containers.
This chest is tucked in a tube that is from a destroyed piece of aircraft. It is sat on a hillside.
At the base of a cliff, in the south of the map, you will find a Banished building. It can be accessed via a cave in the lower level rockface.
At the East of Forge of Teash outpost, the Spartan Core is inside the building in the east, on the top floor, which has a ramp leading up to it.
This Spartan Core location is at the top of the hill, next to some Banished gear. It is just to the right of a number of hexagonal platforms at the top.
This core is just north of the body of water south of Outpost Tremonius. You need to enter the cave halfway up the hill this core is on to find the chest inside.
At the Armory Of Reckoning Outpost another core can be found in the underground tunnels. It is about halfway through the tunnel, in the central room. 
This chest is inside a carved-out cave in a cliff north-east of the Excavation Site. Inside this cave is a Forerunner armory, where the chest is located.
In a tilted Banished building at the ‘Horn of Abolition’ outpost, embedded within the ground is the chest. This building is in the south of the outpost, which you can access from the roof.
This next core is found on the top of a large hill at the southern tip of the Excavation Site. Up here, it is sat on a rock at the top, next to a tree.
The final Spartan Core location in this area is in the south-east corner of the Excavation Site. It is sat inside a Banished shelter with weaponry and other gear.
This Spartan Core is on the edge of the cliff in the central section of the map. You will need to jump down to a lower hexagonal platform jutting out to find the chest hidden away.
The next core is just west of the central spire structure in the central section of the map, behind a crashed aircraft.
LOCKDOWN SPARTAN CORE LOCATIONS
This Spartan Core chest is just south-east of The Tower, by some Banished pods and a rock in a field.
When taking on The Tower mission, you will start it outside at the base of the tower. It can be found in an armory room shelter at the back right of the area, near the gravity lift.
This chest is on the third floor of the tower, tucked away in one of the indents adjacent to the ramps leading up and down. Use your scan to see it through walls and the darkness.
This Spartan Core chest is in amongst a destroyed aircraft on a hillside. It is on the left side of the aircraft, next to a small crate.
This chest is sitting in the far south-east corner of Ransom Keep outpost. It is next to some munitions and opposite an armory room.
This Spartan Core chest is on the edge of the cliff, next to some UNSC equipment sitting on hexagonal structures.
The next Spartan Core location in Halo Infinite is in between two tall cliffs. At the base of those cliffs there are some hexagonal platforms, with the chest tucked against the left cliff.
The next Halo Infinite Spartan Core can be found sitting on a hexagonal platform, just at the edge of the cliff. You might miss it as it is tucked behind a taller hexagonal pillar.
GARVEYARDS SPARTAN CORE LOCATIONS
This Spartan Core is in the south-west corner of this central area with the three anti-aircraft guns during the Pelican Down mission. It is sat at the base of a hexagonal structure, next to a few trees in the south-west.
On the large central battlefield in the centre of this middle island with three anti-air guns during the Pelican Down mission, you can find the chest on the roof of a large aircraft which has crashed.
This Spartan Core is by the east anti-air gun during the Pelican Down mission. It is inside a cave by the gun.
At the northernmost point of the northern anti-air gun, the chest can be found in a building.
REFORMATION SPARTAN CORE LOCATIONS
Underneath the large opening carved out in a cliff you can find the chest on the hexagonal flooring. You will need to use your Grappleshot to get up to the upper parts of this opening.
This core is at the top of a raised cliff with hexagonal structures. The chest is sitting on the southern edge of this landmass.
This Spartan Core is in the south-west of the Riven Gate outpost. It is inside some tunnels carved out by Banished.
Just north of the eastern tower in the southern section of the map you can find the chest sitting at the base of a cliff.
South of the eastern tower, the chest is amongst a large open field, next to some trees and sitting on a cliff edge.
This chest is at the base of the large Forerunner structure in the southern section of the map. It is resting against the central pillar.
This Spartan Core is at the base of a Forerunner overlook tower, by a rockface nearby.
The next Spartan Core location is at the north-west point of the Annex Ridge outpost, in an armory shelter just outside the building on the corner of the platform.
This chest is inside a room in a cave, underneath the cliff in the central part of the southern area. It is accessible via the large opening in the western walls of the landmass.
This core is inside the rubble of a crashed ship, along the cliff edge and among a set of boulders on the hillside.
At the location above there is a large opening in between two rocks with a large drop down underground. If you jump down you can find the chest against an old Forerunner ring in the underground.
The next skull is inside an opening in the hexagonal structure of the cliff, next to some UNSC supplies.
At the beacon in the centre of the southern area, in the north, there is a chest. It is sitting on the upper platform of the Forerunner overlook tower.
Just west of Fortune Squad UNSC Distress Call, the chest is embedded within a hexagonal structure. Drop down through the opening here at the dead end to find the chest underground.
At the southern tip of the southern area of the map the chest is found next to the Spire. It is sat by a rock, just to the right of a Forerunner overlook tower.
