Stacking up your V-Bucks in Fortnite can be a costly endeavor, especially with the release of the Fortnite Miles Morales skin on the horizon. However, Epic Games is giving away some free Fortnite cosmetics to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Don’t hesitate to jump into one of the best battle royale games on PS5 and Xbox though, as you don’t have long to get hold of these items.

To mark the occasion of Global Accessibility Awareness Day on Thursday, May 18, 2023, Epic Games is bringing attention to the game’s robust accessibility options that make the game intuitive for everyone. Bringing the game’s community together, the popular battle royale title will give away two items for free: the Access Core Back Bling and Good Game, Well Played Emote.

However, if you want to spread awareness within your party and across the best Fortnite Creative codes maps, you’ll have until  5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET and 1:00 AM BST on Friday, May 19, 2023.

Speaking to the importance of the cause, the developer explains that “GAAD is about raising awareness for global accessibility […] Global accessibility means ensuring everyone has the same opportunities for experiencing digital platforms and putting the accommodations in place needed to make that possible.”

Fortnite players can use a variety of options to tailor their gameplay experience, which includes “accessibility options in Fortnite like controller compatibility and personalization, visualized sound effects, customizable subtitles.” These options can be used in any of the game’s modes, including the recent launch of Fortnite Ranked – which could be a true contender for Warzone 2 ‘s newly-launched Ranked Play beta.

With so many ways to enjoy Fortnite and all of its zany cosmetics, we’re confident that it still deserves to be mentioned alongside some of the best shooting games that players can dig into.

There’s sure to be more skins and mayhem though, as the rumored Fortnite Durian event could shake up how the game’s chapters are released going forward. But before that changes the island drastically again, Epic Games is making it easier than ever to level up faster across Fortnite Creative modes and standard playlists with a simple XP tweak.
