With the best ratings now listed, let us give you some insight into the top ten stars who are taking the women’s game by storm.
Alexia Putellas (Barcelona) – 91
If you’re looking at the cold hard stats, there’s no denying that Putellas is the best player in the women’s game right now. The Spanish midfielder, who is the face of FC Barcelona on and off the pitch, won every single award available to a European player both individually and on a club level by 2022.
Those gongs include the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year, the Ballon d’Or Feminin, and the best FIFA Women’s Player in both 2021 and 2022. Her rating of 91 not only makes her the highest-rated woman in FC 24, but the joint-highest player overall regardless of gender, sharing the top spot with Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Kevin De Bruyne.
Aitana Bonmatí (Barcelona) – 90
Aitana Bonmatí has had an identical year to team and countrymate Putellas, and showcased why she’s deserving of a top spot in this year’s ratings.
Scoring crucial goals for club and country, including three in the 2023 Women’s World Cup, and five in the UWCL – outdone only by Wolfsburg’s Ewa Pajor – Bonmatí is well and truly entering her prime years in style.
Caroline Graham Hansen (Barcelona) – 90
Barcelona has a formidable strike team but the results the club pulls in week after week simply aren’t possible without the likes of Caroline Graham Hansen. The Norwegian is a tireless playmaker who works hard to set her teammates up for success.
While she might not have as many titles to her name as the other women on this list, Graham Hansen isn’t a name you should ignore. Last year, the winger made six assists and scored a total of 11 goals in just 13 games.
She’s a Champions League winner and a domestic treble winner who only seems to get better as time goes on – hence her high FC 24 rating.
Sam Kerr (Chelsea) – 90
EA FC 24 wouldn’t be anything without its poster girl from last year, would it?
The Matildas captain, who is widely regarded as one of the best forwards of all time, is the all-time leading goal scorer in Australian international soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States. In fact, her strike is so deadly that she’s the only female player to have won the Golden Boot in three different leagues and on three different continents.
Wherever Kerr goes, goals follow, and last season was no exception. She started for Chelsea as she meant to go on; by scoring ten goals in seven consecutive games. By the end of the season, Kerr had netted an impressive 32 goals across all competitions, adding another WSL title to her name.
Kadidiatou Diani (Lyon) – 89
What a year Kadidiatou Diani has had. With an astonishing 17 goals and seven assists notched up in 17 games, the Frenchwoman set Division 1 Féminine on fire last year as she celebrated her best-ever return in domestic soccer.
Having made the move from Paris Saint-Germain to Lyon this Summer, all eyes will be on Diani to continue her fine form up top coming into the 2023/24 season.
Ada Hegerberg (Lyon) – 89
The Lyon striker hasn’t had the easiest couple of years with injuries, but she’s back, and she’s better than ever before.
The Norwegian striker loves a big occasion and on her return from the sidelines after nearly two years, Hegerberg helped her club to a league title and Champions League qualification.
There are plenty of stars who would have thrown in the towel after a 21-month absence, but Hegerberg has proved – and proves continuously – that she’s one of the best players in the game.
Mapi León (Barcelona) – 89
Mapi León is at the height of her powers right now. Having been voted into the 2022 FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 – the first time she’s made it into the prestigious lineup – the blaugrana star has been an integral part of her team’s many successes.
At 89 overall, León is the highest-rated defender in the women’s game right now – a very much deserved accolade.
Alex Morgan (San Diego Wave) – 89
At 34 years of age, Alex Morgan continues to shine brighter than ever. In 2022 she recorded her best-ever tally, with 16 goals and three assists to her name in 19 games. Although the National Women’s Soccer League has yet to wrap up for 2023, she’s already on-track for another strong return.
While her overall rating has taken a slight knock in FC 24, it’s clear that Morgan has plenty to offer as San Diego Wave sets its sights on that all-important NWSL trophy.
Debinha (KC Current) – 88
The star of Kansas City Current, Debinha has continued to showcase why she’s one of the top stars in women’s soccer. While Brazil failed to get out of Group E at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, the forward remained a bright spot on the international stage.
In 2022, Debinha secured her best-ever goal return, scoring 12 times in 18 matches in her final season with North Carolina Courage. Now in Kansas, there’ll be similar expectations for Debinha as there are for Diani.
Alexandra Popp (VfL Wolfsburg) – 88
Popp might be one of the oldest players on this list, but her experience cannot be understated. The forward has racked up more than 60 goals for Germany in her long career and more than 80 for her club, VfL Wolfsburg.
Injuries have plagued the German in recent years, however, every time she makes her return, she’s able to find her form once again.
