Diablo 4’s most creative builds bring Kratos and more to Sanctuary

Many Diablo 4 players are racing to level up their Barbarians and Rogues, but others are taking time to bring God of War's Kratos and more to the Blizzard RPG.

Most of the best RPG games ever made open up your imagination, and Blizzard continues that trend with the arrival of Diablo 4 across PS5 and Xbox platforms. While customizing their Diablo 4 classes, players across Sanctuary are re-creating iconic pop-culture figures, ranging from the worlds of God of War Ragnarok to Masters of the Universe.

If you’ve ever wanted to roam around defeating Diablo 4 World Bosses as none other than He-Man, then your time to bask in his glory is now. Diablo 4 Redditor ‘djnobility’ showcases his fantastic spin on the Diablo 4 Barbarian build, while making reference to the 2005 meme-hit Fabulous Secret Powers. Though he can’t the catchy 4 Non Blondes tune in-game, you better play it via Spotify in He-Man’s honor.

We wonder if anyone will take a stab at bringing Dolph Lundgren’s version of He-Man from the 1987 live-action movie to the game. Though, some He-Man fans might want that experience to remain in the depths of Eternia.

But if the Masters of the Universe lore isn’t for you, then there is another hulking mass of a hero that will bring you god-like power, at least aesthetically.

Taking a break from berating his son in the Santa Monica Studio blockbuster, Diablo 4 player ‘Lox72’ is traveling across the land with an outrageously good portrayal of Kratos. Based on the PlayStation 2 version of the fan-favorite warrior, this alternative look at the Barbarian class might just be the best one we’ve seen so far.

The Redditor goes as far as to jokingly challenge the He-Man creation: “I see your He-Man and raise you my old-school Kratos transmog!”

In a similar fashion to Street Fighter 6 Avatar Codes, it is impressive to see the Diablo 4 community crafting these builds together – considering how limited the game’s basic customization is. The game is still young at this point, but we know that players are just beginning to get cooking.

Let’s see a John Wick-influenced Diablo 4 Rogue build, or maybe even someone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A tasty Diablo 4 Sorcerer build is ripe for a Doctor Strange setup.
