Destiny 2 Chamber of Starlight bug becomes a fiendish Bungie boss

Ahead of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion DLC, guardians are unable to finish the Chamber of Starlight as they grind for valuable exotic Bungie rewards.

Destiny 2 Lightfall is an intergalactic adventure, but it isn’t that far away for us fearless guardians. We’ve still got some time before the next Bungie DLC expansion arrives, so Destiny 2 players have been heading into the Chamber of Starlight. It is one of the game’s many Lost Sector locations. However, a Chamber of Starlight bug that withholds enemies and more is plaguing the game.

The Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector offers Destiny 2 players the chance to earn incredible rewards, but getting to the final chest isn’t exactly easy. Whether you’re rolling through the caves solo or in a squad, you might be unlucky enough to find that enemies and portals aren’t spawning into the game correctly. As these elements are vital for finishing the Lost Sector, you can’t progress any further. It’s an abnormal issue, but Destiny 2 Redditor ‘Boreoff‘ claims it can be avoided.

“You have to backtrack to the entrance slowly. Where there’s a red hue around the cave, if you go as far as the zone outside the Lost Sector reloading (and popping up in the bottom left) you have gone too far,” explains the Redditor.” Furthermore, they suggest that players should “go back almost that far but not quite. Then head back into the Lost Sector and enemies should have spawned in.” This simple yet seemingly effective method is corroborated by fellow player ‘stitchoneill‘.

In tandem with the aforementioned advice, this player says “walk in there [the Dreaming City] don’t run. When you get to the first area with the balcony on the right […] just give it a second and the enemies will spawn.”

You’ll encounter bosses such as Inkasi and the Disciple of Quria in the Chamber of Starlight. Even the most deadly Destiny 2 player can be phased out by them.

Although, you don’t have to let them send you to an early death. Before you head into the Chamber of Starlight, it’s best to equip the best Destiny 2 Hunter build or best Destiny 2 Warlock build. If none of those applies to you, that must mean you’re after the best Destiny 2 Titan build.

Mastering those builds is a great quest and we couldn’t be more excited to grind them as the Destiny 2 Lightfall release date approaches. Lightfall is the next major expansion for Destiny 2, which will act as the penultimate chapter in the ongoing Light and Darkness saga. Sporting a glorious synthwave-style aesthetic, the expansion also brings the Destiny 2 Lightfall Raid release date with it too.
