In case you haven’t already heard, Motive has added an additional, secret ending to Dead Space that provides something new for longtime fans. But, what is this Dead Space remake alternate ending and how to get it? This guide will take you through what you need to do.
Besides the adjustments made to the Dead Space characters and some new Dead Space remake side missions, this alternate ending and the new items added to the game in order to unlock it are some of the biggest changes to the horror classic. Below, you can find a guide to what you need to do if you are planning to hop into Dead Space.
Dead Space remake alternate ending
The Dead Space remake alternate ending can be unlocked during your New Game Plus playthrough. In addition, during that playthrough, you need to obtain Marker Fragments, which are new, unique collectibles for the remake. This will unlock a new conclusion to the game when you then beat it on New Game Plus.
In terms of what that ending is and where you can find it, the ending is different in that we get to see Isaac controlled by the Marker and not going insane. As such it makes more sense and leads better into Dead Space 2. Requiring a second playthrough for this means that we haven’t been able to find the Dead Space Marker Fragments yet, which you can find in our guide.
