You need to check out the best TAQ-56 loadout before Warzone nerfs it

If you want to use one of the best Warzone guns before the next title update, you need to check out the best TAQ-56 build on Xbox, PS5, and PC right now.

Warzone Season 4 best TAQ-56 loadout: an image of a man looking down from the FPS

If you want to get ahead of the meta and check out one of the best Warzone guns available right now, before the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded release date arrives and a new set of patch notes nerf it into oblivion, you need to check out the best TAQ-56 loadout available in Warzone at the moment. This assault rifle hits hard and, whether you’re darting through Vondel’s streets or pushing through Al Mazrah’s desert dunes, you’ll be better off having this by your side.

But, what actually goes into throwing together the best Warzone TAQ-56 loadout for this battle royale? Where does it differ to the best MW2 TAQ-56 loadout, too? Well, Call of Duty content creator ‘Ryda‘ has thrown together a build – with tuning – that makes sure you’re taking full advantage of this AR’s natural strengths while mitigating it’s weaknesses. If you’re landing your shots, this will devastate your opponents.

Here’s what you need to know about this TAQ-56 build:

  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20 (vertical tuning: +1.40, horizontal tuning: +1.00)
  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel (vertical tuning: +0.16, horizontal tuning: +0.13)
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (vertical tuning: +0.80, horizontal tuning: +0.40)
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4 (vertical tuning: -0.94)

One thing that’s worth noting is that, if you’re playing solos or duos, you can probably get away with equipping the 40 Round Mag attachment – which should improve your mobility and agility with this AR a little. However, when you get yourself into a squad-on-squad firefight, having the 60 Round Mag attachment equipped is going to be your best bet. You’re going to have to crack a lot of armor plates and running out of ammo in the middle of a fight could be fatal.

Despite only being used by around 1.4% of players, according to Warzone stat-tracking site WZStats, the TAQ-56 is increasingly becoming a popular AR and we can certainly see this dominating the Warzone meta before too long.

Although, that doesn’t mean it won’t be nerfed in an upcoming update – if not Season 4 Reloaded, the Warzone Season 5 release date is closer than you think. Whether influenced directly with buffs and nerfs, or indirectly through changes to health and armor values, the Warzone meta is ever-changing and a gun as good as the TAQ-56 is right now never survives for too long.

If you’re looking for something to pair this TAQ-56 with, we recommend checking out the best Warzone SP-X 80 loadout or the best Warzone MCPR-300 loadout – if you’re playing standard battle royale games on Al Mazrah. You’re certainly going to want to have a long-range option to hand here. If, though, you’re playing on Vondel or Ashika Island, dropping in with one of the best Lachmann Sub lodaouts or the best KV Broadside loadout is the best idea. Sure, this TAQ-56 will do a job at close ranges, but having a shotgun or SMG never hurts.
