The best Kilo Warzone loadout

It's a staple of the Warzone meta, so here's how to get the most out of it

In a battlefield as varied and expansive as Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk, you need weapons that will have you covered for any situation. One of the most commonly used guns, for that very reason, is the Kilo 141 assault rifle.

Thanks to Warzone’s attachment system, the Kilo can be built in a number of different ways to be a top-tier gun for long-range battles, a close-range shredder, or a jack of all trades and be the perfect all rounder. For the majority of Warzone’s lifespan, the Kilo has been a top pick for some of the game’s biggest streamers, such as Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff or Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm, and it continues to be a trusty companion to this day.

But what is the best Kilo Warzone loadout? Which attachments will you want to bolt to your Kilo to suit your playstyle, which perks should you take, and what secondary should you pair it with to create the perfect loadout? Well, we’re here to give you some of the top Kilo builds being used by streamers and pro players, so that you too can rack up some high-kill games in Verdansk.

Here are the best Kilo Warzone loadouts:

Best Kilo Warzone loadout for long range

The best Warzone Kilo loadout for long range is:

  • Monolithic Suppressor
  • Singuard Arms 19.8” Prowler
  • VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Commando Foregrip
  • 60 Round Mags

This Kilo build, which is actually used in one of NICKMERCS’ Warzone loadouts, is an absolute animal for long-range battles. The attachments essentially turn it into something closer to an LMG than an AR as it hits hard and can wipe out a squad without the need to reload if you hit all your shots.

NICKMERCS’ describes this as his “no recoil” Kilo build, and he’s absolutely right – this thing does not move. That’s largely thanks to the Commando Foregrip, while that big old barrel helps extend the assault rifle’s range so you can take out enemy snipers with ease.

Because it is suited to beaming players at longer distances, for the best loadout you’ll want to pair it with a close-range shredder like the MAC-10 (see our best MAC-10 Warzone loadout guide for some inspiration) or a shotgun like the R9-0.

For that you’ll need the Overkill perk, and we recommend going with E.O.D. and Amped as your other two perks. Equipment can come down to personal preference, but the tried and tested combo of C4 and a Heartbeat Sensor is what we and NICKMERCS recommend.

Best Kilo Warzone loadout for close-range

The best Warzone Kilo loadout for close range is:

  • Singuard Arms Whisper
  • Merc Foregrip
  • Tac Laser
  • 60 Round Mags
  • Stippled Grip Tape

If you’re heading into Downtown for the latter stages of a Warzone game, it’s always best to go prepared for close-quarters fights. This Kilo build turns it into a hard-hitting weapon with vastly improved hip fire accuracy and ADS time.

While it might not be as OP as a proper SMG like a MAC-10 or an MP5, it certainly does the job if you haven’t unlocked all the necessary attachments for the aforementioned guns.

Pair this Kilo with a big ol’ LMG (try our best Stoner Warzone loadout) or a sniper for the long-range battles, and you’re laughing.

We recommend the same lineup of perks and equipment that we suggested for the long-range Kilo build above.

So there’s two polar-opposite Kilo builds that showcase its impressive versatility. While the close-range build can admittedly be outmatched by some SMGs, there are very few guns in Warzone right now that could outdo that long-range Kilo. It’s arguably the best assault rifle Warzone has to offer.
