From laser swords to missile launchers, the AC6 weapons and guns list is diverse, letting you equip your mech with four tools of destruction at once.

Armored Core 6 weapons: An AC mech with visible damage set against a bright pink background.

Piloting a hulking mech decked out with guns on every part of your metal body, there are a lot of Armored Core 6 weapons and weapon types to test out. In typical FromSoftware fashion, picking the right weapon for the job is crucial, so we’ve prepared a list of all the AC6 weapons and guns so you can be prepared as you start your brutal and unforgiving journey.

Players will undoubtedly have their favorite Armored Core 6 weapons, after all, every weapon type is unique, but there’s an added layer of complexity in AC6. With all equipment costing money to fix and resupply, you’ll be using a variety of different weapons throughout the Armored Core 6 missions. This is especially true when fighting the Armored Core 6 bosses, which continue FromSoftware’s penchant for equally dramatic and deadly combatants that will require a complete understanding of the tools at your disposal. So, equip your best PS5 controller or best Xbox controller, and let’s get into it.

There are over 100 AC6 weapons (and shields) spread across the various weapon types and equipment slots that you can get to grips with as you progress. With four main weapon slots spread across the arms and back, you’ll be a walking (and flying) fortress capable of mass destruction.

Helpfully, ‘Weapons From Games’ has demonstrated all of the AC6 weapons in this video below, so you can check them out for yourself:

While handheld weapons can be equipped to any slot with the right upgrade installed, back weapons like rocket pods are limited to these slots. Nevertheless, you’re encouraged to mix and match weapons to cover all types of engagements.

For example, the HI-32: BU-TT/A pulse blade is great for close-quarters combat, but you’ll need to pair it with another ranged weapon, particularly if you want to stand a fighting chance against bosses.

It’s also important to remember that each purchasable Armored Core 6 weapon costs differing amounts. While being decked out with the most expensive rockets sure sounds like a blast, you’ll be paying for it when you die or use up all your ammo and need to resupply.

We recommend thinking clearly about your Armored Core 6 loadout very carefully before and during a mission, weighing up the power of a weapon with its cost. And don’t be afraid to change your loadout mid-mission, this new quality-of-life feature is there for a reason.

Read on below to learn more about some of our favorite weapons to aid in your build-crafting.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The MG-014 Ludlow machine gun in the inventory screen.

MG-014 Ludlow – machine gun

The MG-014 Ludlow is a machine gun that can be equipped in either arm that boasts a rapid rate of fire, able to unload a volley of projectiles down-range. To balance this speed, the MG-014 Ludlow lacks firepower. Nevertheless, when paired with another, more damaging weapon, the MG-014 can be a great addition thanks to its consistency. It will shine in Double Trigger builds, either dual-wielding this weapon or pairing it with a more potent weapon.

PB-033M Ashmead – pile bunker

Developed by Balam, the PB-033 Ashmead is a pile bunker that can be used as an arm-type weapon. With a rather large spike, the pile bunker will pierce your enemies at close range, obliterating the target. The weapon can also be charged to enable enhanced explosive attacks.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The HI-32 pulse blade viewed in the customization screen.

HI-32: BU-TT/A – pulse blade

The HI-32: BU-TT/A is a pulse blade that can dish out heavy slashing attacks at close range. It can be charged to increase damage with heavier attacks. While a melee weapon can be a risky choice, this pulse blade will reward your bravery with great damage output.

Vvc-760PR – plasma rifle

The Vvc-760PR plasma rifle can be equipped to the arms to create plasma explosions that cause damage-inflicting zones for a short period – additionally, charging the weapon results in a more scattered pattern with multiple explosions. This can be great for packs of enemies or dealing consistent damage to a single foe.

DF-GA-08 HU BEN – gatling gun

The DF-GA-08 HU BEN is a large gatling gun that can dish out some serious firepower. Boasting an overwhelmingly rapid-fire rate, the gatling gun is perfect for sustained damage against large foes.

MA-T-222 Kyorai – napalm bomb launcher

The MA-T-222 Kyorai is an arm-slot napalm bomb launcher developed by BAWS that launches incendiary rounds that scorch the point of impact. This is great for limiting the maneuverability of ground-based enemies and dealing consistent damage to larger foes.

VP-66LR – laser rifle

The VP-66LR laser rifle is an arm-slot weapon developed by Arquebus. As one of the most commonly used laser weapons in the game’s universe, you can always count of the VP-66LR. It can even be charged to deal bonus damage.

VP-66LS – laser shotgun

Another of Arquebus’ reliable weapons, the VP-66LS laser shotgun can be equipped in either arm. As a laser shotgun, this weapon boasts slightly more range than you might expect. Additionally, changing the weapon will produce a high-energy explosion.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The SI-24 pulse shield in the weapon screen.

SI-24: SU-Q5 – pulse shield

The SI-24: SU-Q5 is a left-back pulse shield that can be used to block attacks. Developed by Takigawa Harmonics, this pulse shield is on the cheaper end but balanced for a low Energy (EN) build, requiring very little Energy to equip. Furthermore, it’s also got a generous Initial Guard time making it easier to use. If you’re willing to trade firepower for a defense option, then the SI-24: SU-Q5 is a good choice.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The BML-G1 missile launcher being inspected in the customization page.

BML-G1/P20MLT-04 – missile launcher

The BML-G1/P20MLT-0 is a left-back missile launcher that will likely serve as your special, high-powered weapon early on. The BML-G1 is a four-cell missile capable of tracking enemies, even boasting multi-lock capabilities to track several targets at once. So, whether you’re taking down a group of enemies or one strong boss, you can’t go wrong with the BML-G1 missile launcher.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The RF-024 Turner assault rifle in the mech equipment screen.

RF-024 Turner – assault rifle

The RF-024 Turner is an assault rifle that can take either arm weapon slot which balances its rate of fire and damage to offer a cheap and reliable weapon that can adapt to almost any scenario. It’s likely to be one of the best weapons on a budget, especially early on.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The DF-GR-07 grenade launcher in the mech weapons interface.

DF-GR-07 Gou-Chen – grenade launcher

The DF-GR-07 Gou-Chen is a grenade launcher that can be equipped in an arm gear slot that is capable of dishing out great damage as a secondary weapon. While it’s not quite as agile or consistent as the likes of a machine gun, the DF-GR-07 grenade launcher is great for staggering tougher enemies.

Iridium – grenade launcher

There’s also the Iridium grenade launcher, a compact option developed by Melinite. With a limited number of rounds but a great blast radius and power, the Iridium is certainly worth considering for your build.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The Vvc-770LB laser blade in the weapon page.

Vvc-770LB – laser blade

The Vvc-770LB is a laser blade that deals energy-based slash attacks at close range. Like the HI-32: BU-TT/A pulse blade, this weapon can be charged to increase potency, though with this weapon it also activates powerful combo attacks that sweep the surrounding area.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The MA-J-200 Ranetsu in the mech weapon screen.

MA-J-200 Ransetsu-RF – burst rifle

The MA-J-200 Ransetsu-RF is a burst rifle usable in either arm and capable of reliable albeit relatively weak damage. However, this weapon can be charged to fire in burst shots that will let it be a bit more competitive in the damage department. This weapon is best paired with a high-powered weapon like the DF-GR-07 Gou-Chen grenade launcher.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The LR-036 Curtis linear rifle in the weapon loadout screen.

LR-036 Curtis – linear rifle

The LR-036 Curtis is a linear rifle that fires high-speed bolts using electromagnetic propulsion from either arm gear slot. Charging this weapon will unleash even faster and more damaging bolts. Given the high damage potential, this weapon can be great for taking down tougher enemies, including bosses.

Armored Core 6 weapons: The HG-003 Coquillett handgun in the loadout page.

HG-003 Coquillett – handgun

The HG-003 Coquillett is a handgun that takes up either the left or right arm gear piece to provide a close-range damage option. With high stopping power, the HG-003 Coquillett handgun is nothing to scoff at, despite its understated appearance. If you’re using a melee weapon like the Vvc-770LB laser blade, this weapon would be a good fit for a close-range build. It’s also very cheap if you’re on a tight budget.

DF-BA-06 Xuan-Ge – bazooka

The DF-BA-06 Xuan-Ge is a bazooka that can be equipped in either arm and delivers high-powered explosive payloads. Plus, with more rounds than most of the competition, this Dafeng Core Industries bazooka is capable of much more sustained damage.

BML-G1/P31DUO-02 – dual missile launcher

The BML-G1/P31DUO-02 is a dual missile launcher that can be equipped on your back. Unleashing two powerful missiles that attack enemies in a pincer trajectory, this weapon is great for shutting down enemies’ escapes, especially with multi-lock capabilities.
