Everyone loves surprises and the Xbox Game Pass February 2024 lineup keeps delivering. This month has already gone from the thrills of Persona 3 Reload to the almost-meditative satisfaction of Train Sim World and the terrifying Resident Evil 3. With the second batch of Xbox Game Pass games now revealed though, you’ve got seven more superb games to dig into, including Tales of Arise and Warhammer 40K Boltgun.
Xbox Game Pass kicks off this new batch with the incredible Tales of Arise, available from today. Having launched back in 2021, Arise isn’t exactly a new Xbox game, though it certainly is one of the best Xbox games and best RPG games of recent years – and now it’s all yours on Game Pass. As two worlds collide, you’ll join forces to challenge fate and carve a new future, making use of ever-satisfying abilities to blitz through combat, explore, and meet a colorful cast of characters.
Also available today is Return to Grace, a first-person, narrative-driven adventure game set in an eye-catching 1960s retro sci-fi world. As a space archaeologist, you’re on a journey to solve an intriguing mystery involving an ancient AI god – the titular Grace.
Though it’s easy to get lost in a fun new RPG or sports game, don’t overlook shark-sim Maneater and the creative sandbox of Space Engineers, arriving on February 27 and 29 respectively. We also highly recommend you check out Boltgun on March 5, especially if you’re on the lookout for an old-school shooter with a lot of style set in the amazingly absurd Warhammer universe.
Though you won’t have nearly enough time to beat even the first two new Xbox Game Pass games arriving today, the lineup for the rest of the month comes equally thick and fast. Here’s the full library of titles arriving in the last batch of the month:
- Tales of Arise – Tuesday, February 20 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Return to Grace – Tuesday, February 20 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Bluey: The Videogame – Thursday, February 22 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Maneater – Tuesday, February 27 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Madden NFL 24 – Tuesday, February 27 (Cloud, via EA Play)
- Indivisible – Wednesday, February 28 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Space Engineers – Thursday, February 29 (console, PC, Cloud)
- Warhammer 40K: Boltgun – Tuesday, March 5 (console, PC, Cloud)
As you can see, that’s seven great titles set to join the service over the next two weeks, from some of the best FPS games to the best sports games. Some may even find a place on our overall best Xbox Game Pass games list. Plus, when Boltgun is added, we can expect to find out the first wave of games making their way to Microsoft’s subscription in March too.
That’s not where the good news ends either. During the Xbox business update podcast which revealed that four Xbox exclusives were launching on other platforms, including PS5, it was also announced that Diablo 4 is coming to Game Pass very soon. You’re getting a lot of bang for your buck with Game Pass in 2024, though only time will tell if it will beat the 150 games worth over $5,000 added to Xbox Game Pass in 2023 alone.
