Forget discounts on individual games, this new Xbox sale is knocking serious money off of bundles from top developers and collections of games from some iconic series. The Xbox Bundles sale slashes up to 80% off of over 100 bundles, which include Star Wars games, the Far Cry series, FPS royalty from Arkane studios, and much more.
Microsoft has been putting out some ace deals as of late, but this certainly our favorite of the year so far. While there aren’t many new Xbox games included, it does offer up some insanely cheap collections of some of the best games ever made. This presents a great opportunity to pick up and play any classics that may have passed you by over the years. Seeing as there are 106 bundles to sift through, we’ve saved you some time and picked out some of our favorite deals.
First up, we need to talk about Assassin’s Creed. While they are some of the best open world games ever made, you’d be forgiven for having dipped in and out of the series. Well, there are several AC-themed bundles in this sale that could allow you to pick up any games that you haven’t sunk your teeth into yet. The biggest and most heavily-discounted is the Legendary Collection, which packages up six mainline Assassin’s Creed games: Origins, Odyssey, Syndicate, Unity, Rogue Remastered, and Black Flag. Normally an eye-watering $200, this bundle is now down to just $39.99 as part of the Xbox Bundles Sale in the US only. That’s an 80% discount.
Also discounted by 80% and setting you back just $31.99 (£31.99 for UK readers) is the Mythology Collection, which includes Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla for those that enjoy the era more heavily-influenced by RPG games. With 75% off, you could also grab the Triple Pack, which bundles Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate together. The discount brings it down to just $22.49 (or £17.49 in the UK).
Moving away from Assassins Creed but sticking with Ubisoft, the Far Cry Anthology is currently 75% off, making it just $37.49 (£37.49 in the UK). This includes Far Cry 3, 4, 5, and the newest entry in the series, Far Cry 6. Four sprawling open world games with some iconic villains for under $40 is a bargain, if you ask us.
You know what’s also a bargain? Four of the best FPS games ever in one package. While the doomed live service shooter Redfall will ever leave a blemish, Arkane Studios is still one of the greatest developers of the last 20 years, and its pre-Redfall shooters are must-plays. So, here’s The Arkane Collection – which includes Dishonored: Definitive Edition, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and Prey – for just $23.99 (£23.99 in the UK). That’s 70% off the usual retail of $79.99 (£79.99).
We’ve also got to highlight this delicious bundle of Star Wars games. Currently 80% off at just $17.99 (£15.99 in the UK), you can get Star Wars Squadrons, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. While the newest big Star Wars game, Jedi Survivor, is missing, these are still three excellent adventures spanning three different genres too.
