How to use the Towing Harness in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To use the Towing Harness in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you need to talk to the stable master at any stable and press ‘Customise horse’. This can be done at any stable in Hyrule, but you will need to have bought the Towing Harness first from the stables.

As you can see, not quite as complex as you might have thought. But, because the Towing Harness goes into your Key Items slot and can’t be equipped it can be quite confusing as to why it won’t automatically get put onto your horse and cart. As mentioned, this can be done anywhere, so don’t worry about having to keep track of where you bought the harness as once you own it you can equip it anywhere via the stable master.
