Thanks to the new powers introduced in Tears of the Kingdom, there are a lot of different ways Link can traverse and carry items with him in this game. One of those is with a new Towing Harness, but it isn’t exactly clear how to attach it to your horse of choice. But, this guide will help you out as we tell you exactly what you need to do to use the Towing Harness in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
This is one of many features you will want to get equipped with as you are exploring the Tears of the Kingdom maps and increasing your health and stamina. It can really help you out in a tough fight when taking on Tears of the Kingdom bosses or other large encampments of enemies.
How to use the Towing Harness in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To use the Towing Harness in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you need to talk to the stable master at any stable and press ‘Customise horse’. This can be done at any stable in Hyrule, but you will need to have bought the Towing Harness first from the stables.
As you can see, not quite as complex as you might have thought. But, because the Towing Harness goes into your Key Items slot and can’t be equipped it can be quite confusing as to why it won’t automatically get put onto your horse and cart. As mentioned, this can be done anywhere, so don’t worry about having to keep track of where you bought the harness as once you own it you can equip it anywhere via the stable master.
From there, simply attach the harness to a cart or whatever using the Ultrahand ability.
That covers exactly what you need to do to use the Towing Harness in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. For even more tips on the game, check out our guide on how to beat a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom and more in our Zelda Tears of the Kingdom walkthrough.
