Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass, price, characters, release schedule

Get the lowdown on everything you need to know about the Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass and the content you will get with the first year of post-launch support.

Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass: A.K.I can be seen

The Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass returns once again and this time there is even more to enjoy with it. On top of new fighters, there are some extra goodies to use right away and as new content releases, thanks to Street Fighter 6 being the first game in the series built to receive live-service support.

However, don’t get too worried, as this isn’t a live service trying to grab all of your money. Instead, besides some cosmetics, most of the items are found in the Fighter Pass in Street Fighter 6. These can then be used across the game’s modes, namely Street Fighter 6 World Tour, Street Fighter 6 Fighting Ground, and Street Fighter 6 Battle Hub.

Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass

The Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass includes four additional characters, four additional character costumes in ten colors, and 4,200 Drive Tickets. It is the main way to get the new DLC that will drop during the first year of Street Fighter 6’s release.

Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass characters and release schedule

The Street Fighter 6 characters in the Fighter Pass are and will release in the following order:

  • Rashid – Summer 2023
  • A.K.I – Fall 2023
  • Ed – Winter 2024
  • Akuma – Spring 2024

If we were to guess when these characters will launch with a more specific month, Rashid will almost certainly arrive in August 2023, shortly after EVO. A.K.I will likely arrive in the November 2023 window, while Ed is most likely to arrive in February 2024. Finally, Akuma is probably set to land in the game, just before Street Fighter 6’s one-year anniversary in May 2024.

These are guesses on our part, but they follow a similar timescale to what we saw in Street Fighter 6’s last few years of DLC content, so we can expect a somewhat similar cadence.

That covers everything you need to know about the Street Fighter 6 Fighter Pass. As you can see there is a lot for you to look forward to coming down the road, on top of free content, new items in the Hub Goods Shop, and likely some surprises as well.
