Street Fighter 6‘s closed beta is here and we have been promised a controller-gripping, edge-of-your-seat-watching fighting game from Capcom and now we can play it. But, when will the Street Fighter 6 beta codes go out and can you still grab one?
The Street Fighter 6 beta will include a wealth of content from throughout the game. This includes the Battle Hub, Fighting Ground, Training Mode, casual matches, ranked matches, and more. In addition, you will also get to play as seven characters: Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Jamie, Luke, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.
But, can you still hop in? Are the Street Fighter 6 beta codes still available and if you haven’t got one can you still get one? Read on below to find out.
When Will Street Fighter 6 Beta Codes Be Sent?
Street Fighter 6 beta codes were sent out on October 4, 2022, from 8 PM PT, 11 PM ET, 4 AM BST (5th), 5 AM CEST (5th), as announced by Capcom. The rollout has finished so you shouldn’t expect any more codes to be handed out.
Unfortunately, based off social media reaction it seems like very few people managed to get a code. As such it seems like the amount of people who were let in was much smaller than originally thought.
Can you still sign up for the Street Fighter 6 beta?
No, you can’t sign up for the Stret Fighter 6 beta anymore. The sign-up window ended on September 30. So, if you didn’t get in then you are out of luck.
However, we don’t expect this to be the only beta for Street Fighter 6. Excitement is high for the game, so we imagine Capcom will want to get it in everyone’s hands sometime in 2023 before the Street Fighter 6 release date rolls around. But, that hasn’t been confirmed yet by Capcom and is just a guess on our part.
