We can’t quite believe it either, but the hit turn-based JRPG series from Square Enix that brought eight epic adventures together in one incredible game is back. Octopath Traveler 2 is actually on the way; in fact, the Octopath Traveler 2 release time is almost upon us. If you’re looking forward to jumping into the sequel of one of the best RPG games out there, we have everything you need to know about when you can do that below.

We’ve known about the Octopath Traveler 2 release date for a while now, but you’ll be pleased to know that on PlayStation consoles, the Octopath Traveler 2 release time is 21:00 PST on February 23 and 00:00 EST / 00:00 GMT on February 24. The release time on Nintendo Switch consoles is also the same as the above – so, you should be able to play it local time at midnight on the release date specified above.

At the moment, though, there’s no information on when this game will be available on PC. You can pre-purchase the game on the Octopath Traveler 2 Steam page, but there’s no countdown to the specific unlock time for this title just yet.

So, judging by previous Steam game release times and when the storefront itself updates, we’re under the impression that this game will be available at around 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 GMT on February 24.

In a similar fashion to Octopath Traveler, this sequel will see eight separate characters brought together in a wonderfully interwoven narrative that’s certain to be an exciting story to explore for fans of the universe and JRPGs in general.

This time, however, there’s going to be both daytime and nighttime gameplay segments that will offer players unique interactions and pathways – something that should add depth and strategy to this experience.
