We love an awesome crossover in a NetherRealm Studios fighter, and Mortal Kombat 1 isn’t about to end the tradition anytime soon. You already know that Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker are part of the MK1 roster, but what about future additions? Well, it looks like fans could be in for a treat, as new leaks purport that another round of Terminator-themed DLC is in the works. Just don’t expect old Arnie to turn up, though.
In a new Mortal Kombat 1 interview with YouTuber ‘Dan Allen Gaming’, Andrew Morgado, the voice of Reptile from the Mortal Kombat 1 characters roster, appears to leak word of Robert Patrick’s T-1000 heading to the game. Morgado speaks about his time working on the game: “I remember I would sit with Ronda Rousey in the green room at Warner Brothers […] that green room was cool, man, there would be Robert Patrick in there for the T-100.” At present, the announcement of the T-1000 joining the game is still unconfirmed.
It is unlikely that the T-1000 will emerge as a Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo Fighter, and more arrive as a fully-fledged addition to the game’s main cast of fighters. However, it would be pretty cool if Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator was reintroduced in Mortal Kombat 1, allowing us to have the pair fight side by side. Whether James Cameron, the franchise’s mastermind, would approve of them teaming up is another debate entirely to settle surrounding one of the best fighting games this year.
I think the VA for Reptile leaked the T-1000?

Previous leaks surrounding the character revolve around the game’s dialogue, as savvy players are data mining unused voice lines. Responding to known Mortal Kombat 1 leaker ‘TheThiny’, fellow player ‘Yeetrail’ believes that the dialogue below must be for the “T-1000 for sure, right?” It may like a perfectly unassuming piece of dialogue to pick out, but fans of the DC Comics show Peacemaker will know that Robert Patrick portrays Peacemaker’s father in the DC Universe.
It is a nice little nod to connect the two characters together in the Mortal Kombat universe, but we think that Peacemaker doesn’t a chance against the T-1000.
The Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities that arrive from this potential DLC will undoubtedly be gloriously nasty. The T-1000 could be heading to the game alongside another Arnie character, as other leaks claim this 80s icon is stepping into the arena.
