MK1 fans can’t deal with how ‘generous’ this Johnny Cage skin is

If you're wondering why Mortal Kombat 1's Johnny Cage is so cocky all of the time, this rather rude skin available on Xbox and PS5 could be the reason why.

NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the most violent and bloody games available right now, meaning it’s definitely not for kids. Although, as it turns out, the blood and guts might not be the only reason it’s rated M for Mature. Eagle-eyed MK1 fans are finding that one particular Johnny Cage skin in Mortal Kombat 1 is almost too ‘generous’ when it comes to his ‘netherrealm’ – if you catch our drift. If you don’t, just take a look at the pictures below.

One of the best fighting games available right now, Mortal Kombat 1 presents players with some moderate customization options. It’s a little more limited than MK11’s offering, but players can customize one gear item for any one of the Mortal Kombat 1 characters they’re using and change the skin of both these and the Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo fighters they’re playing with through Palettes.

Right now, there really is only a handful of skins for each character; however, one Johnny Cage skin is proving to be more of a handful than the rest of them combined. If you equip any colorway for the Union of Light skin, and then head into the character selection screen as Player One, you may notice a fold in the fabric that looks a lot like Johnny Cage’s… um, little Johnny.

Shared online by this Redditor with the simple caption “bro”, you can imagine the fun the Mortal Kombat 1 community is having with this X-rated revelation.

One has praised Liu Kang for being “very generous” with Johnny Cage, as the person who created the current timeline. Another one has highlighted that this almost definitely explains why Johnny Cage is so cocky all of the time. Then, things get a little more inappropriate from there – but, you get the idea.

Comically, this particular detail isn’t overly obvious when you look at the Johnny Cage skin in the Kustomize menu, or even when you select him as Player Two. It’s really only something you can see if you’re Player One. You might also be pleased to know that it doesn’t factor into any sort of Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities – not that Johnny Cage could survive any of those, anyway.
