If you want to make sure you’re making the most of your time playing Mortal Kombat 1 and the new single-player Invasion mode, you’re going to need to pick the right path through each Mesa. At a glance, that sounds simple enough. However, MK1 doesn’t actually offer you a map – despite the maze-like structure of some of these locations. Thankfully, one dedicated kombatant is throwing together some simple Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion maps to help you find the best rewards this mode has to offer without the hassle of searching for them yourself.
While we were all sitting around deciding who should sit atop our Mortal Kombat 1 character tier list, and which Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo fighters are worth using the most (Sareena is a popular choice here), graphic designer and content creator ‘BoloDaGawd’ was sweating through Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion mode. Why? Well, so they could throw together some useful Mesa maps and guide other Mortal Kombat 1 players to the best rewards each location has to offer.
From the first Fengjian Village Mesa to Shang Tsung’s Laboratory, ‘BoloDaGawd’ has currently created four informative maps that show exactly where each unlockable can be found, where each portal lies, which tiles will require you to complete a Mortal Kombat 1 Test Your Might challenge, and even the best place to farm Seasonal Koins.
As you can see below, there’s even an image of each cosmetic reward attached to the maps. So, if you’re not sure whether you should even bother with Invasion mode this season, this should help you decide for yourself whether it’s worthwhile.

Creator ‘BoloDaGawd’ also comments that they’re making the rest of the Mesa maps soon. So, you shouldn’t have to wait too long if you’re looking for the full set of six.
If you do want to explore Invasion mode, there’s a way you can unlock a killer Roomba while you’re there; you just need to make sure you’re level 30 to get through that challenge. There’s also a secret Cyrax fatality for you to find, and you can use this Mortal Kombat 1 ‘Esdoryt Teh Dwlor’ klue solution to find out how you can do that.
Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the best fighting games out there right now; there really is a lot of fun to be had. Invasion mode, for some reason, though, doesn’t give you a map for your Mesa. Sure, it’s still quite linear, but these maps really are a useful resource if you’re just there to get your hands on all the exclusive rewards.
