Monster Hunter Rise change appearance
You can alter your look at any time in Monster Hunter Rise with the change appearance function. To change the appearance of your character in Monster Hunter Rise, simply interact with an Item Box in Kamura Village and select the appearance settings. Note that names cannot be changed. There are several Item Boxes you can use around Kamura Village, though the most readily accessible one is in the centre of the town, near Hinoa the Quest Maiden and the blacksmith.
Interacting with one of these boxes and choosing to change appearance will open the character creation screen that was used to create your character at the beginning of Monster Hunter Rise, with access to all the same options.
Monster Hunter Rise change Palamute and Palico appearance
The Monster Hunter Rise change appearance function is not limited to changing the look of your own playable character, however. You are also able to change the appearance of your Palamute and Palico companions, though it is accessed via a different method.
To change the appearance of your Palamute or Palico in Monster Hunter Rise, visit one of the many Buddy Boards located around Kamura Village and select appearance settings. For convenience, there’s one right next to the Item Box at the centre of town.
Now that you know how to use the Monster Hunter Rise change appearance function you’ll be able to fix any mistakes you made when creating your character and even alter the look of your Palamute and Palico. For more guides on the game, check out our guides in our Monster Hunter Rise walkthrough.
