Nico Minoru is, without a doubt, the heart of the Midnight Suns as a team – but, she’s also someone you should look to keep at the heart of your squad in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Using uncontrollable magic focused by the Staff of One, Nico offers a varied selection of attacks and abilities that can be used to support teammates and devastate enemies. Sound good? Here’s the best Midnight Suns Nico deck and a build that makes the most of her best cards.

When you look at all the Marvel’s Midnight Suns characters on offer, Nico is evidently one of the more exciting heroes to use. She can be a little unpredictable at times, which is a concern if you like to have full control over the battlefield, but she can be a lot of fun – and more than useful when paired with hard-hitters like the best Midnight Suns Captain Marvel deck or the best Midnight Suns Iron Man deck.

But, what do you need to know about Nico? Well, here’s the best Midnight Suns Nico deck and build:

  • Blood for Blood
  • Blood for Blood
  • Witchfire
  • Blood Magic
  • Restore
  • Double Up
  • Swarm
  • Swarm

Swarm is something of a basic attack when it comes to what Nico can offer you, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t an excellent option to have at the start of a turn. To put it simply, this deals one of four damage values – that’s rolled randomly – to an enemy. If you get lucky, you’re quids in. It’s a cheap attack that can clear up tougher enemies. If not, then it still generates Heroism.

Blood for Blood is something of an enhanced iteration of Swarm, as this also heals Nico or an ally a select amount on KO. You just need to pick your targets carefully when using this ability. If you don’t like targeting enemies yourself, though, then Witchfire is what you want to be using more-often.

This selects a random opponent and has a chance to trigger again on KO. It’s a bit of a gamble, but can be a useful card to clear up groups of enemies when paired with some of the attacks in the best Midnight Suns Blade deck. Restore and Double Up are also both excellent cards if you’re looking to better support your squad – just make sure you’re using Restore last as it applies Exhaust to Nico.

And, that’s just about all there is to it. Nico Minoru can be a huge asset to your fight against Hydra and the Lillin, it just takes time to learn her unique attacks and abilities – and a little bit of luck. But, stick her in a squad with someone who can sponge damage and you’re looking at a winner.

It’s worth remembering, though, that there are quite a few cards in Marvel’s Midnight Suns and there isn’t a set order in which you unlock them. Not to mention Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ length means you could spend quite some time playing before you get what you’re after. So, expect to see some updates to this and all our other deck builds in the future.
