Levelling up and increasing your level is an important part of many great RPG games, encouraging you to explore the world and often rewarding you in turn with new abilities, skills, and improved stats. It’s good to know how to level up in Hogwarts Legacy though since it works slightly differently than most games. Furthermore, it’s also possible that you’re too low-level to continue the main story quests right now and need to level up first.
As you level up in Hogwarts Legacy and complete specific quests you’ll also gain access to an increasing number of Hogwarts Legacy spells. To level up in Hogwarts Legacy, you must earn XP from completing Field Guide Challenges, main story quests, and side quests. Be sure to check your Field Guide regularly for new challenge milestones and to collect your rewards.
Besides gaining access to fun new quests, including main quests which are level gated, levelling up is tied into how to get Talent points in Hogwarts Legacy to further your progression through the Hogwarts Legacy Talents system. This is one of the main ways to increase your power once you reach level five and adds an exciting layer of depth to combat and Hogwarts Legacy character customisation through build potential.

Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.
While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
