Hogwarts Legacy companions
Sebastian Sallow
Sebastian Sallow is the Slytherin companion. He’s described as a ‘charming and extroverted boy’, though he’s determined to help his twin sister Anne, even if it means getting drawn into the dangerous Dark Arts.
Poppy Sweeting
Poppy Sweeting is the Hufflepuff companion. Described as ‘bright and compassionate’, Poppy Sweeting is sure to be the kindest companion you’ll come across. What’s more, she has a deep understanding and love of animals, taking a strong stance against those who do animals harm.
Natsai Onai
Natsai Onai is the Gryffindor companion. Onai is described as wise and quick-witted, dedicated to ensuring justice is upheld. She grew up in Africa where she attended the largest wizarding school in the world at the time, Uagadou, before heading to the halls of Hogwarts after her mother became the Divination professor.
Amit Thakkar
Amit Thakkar is a famous wizarding historian, already well-underway and planning his first memoir. This Ravenclaw companion is also a lover of astronomy. While he certainly likes helping those in need, he quickly realises he’s better suited to studying than dangerous adventures.
That’s all there is to know about the Hogwarts Legacy companions. Whichever House you pick, perhaps besides Ravenclaw if rumours are true, then you’re sure to have a friendly face by your side as you explore the dark mysteries at the heart of Hogwarts. When considering your companion, it’s probably a good idea to understand how the Hogwarts Legacy House sorting system works first.
Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.
While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
